    The thing that made this movie standout is the unique fight/kills in combination with the camera work, Especially after the John Wick series and Daredevil Netflix Series. The kitty cat bracelet was just the perfect excuse to pry open that sealed door Nobody had closed to start a family. Bod Odenkirk is just brilliant in everything he's in, glad he's in better health now and hope he gets more lead roles. Christopher Lloyd was awesome in this, you can tell he was having fun and makes me even more excited to see him in The Mandalorian S3. RZA is so underrated when it comes to acting, definitely doesn't get enough credit. Amazing soundtrack, that fit the mood and tone of each scene perfectly.

      @jjpark98 Před 2 lety +43

      I think the difference is that John Wick is an "ultimate" assassin that is always super precise and always goes for the kill. Hutch is more of an ex-army, special forces type who still has morals (he saved that guys life with a straw tracheotomy even though he could've just left him for dead).
      I'd say the combat in John Wick is definitley more "cartoony" in a sense while still being mostly realistic; they definitely took more creative liberties with John's combat.
      With Hutch, it's definitely a lot more gritty, messy, and realistic. Hutch is shown to not be perfect and still gets a number hits and damage towards him. It seems everything he did was plausible (except maybe that claymore shield thing).,

    The 7/2 off suit tattoo isn’t related to any known military tattoo that I can find. However there’s two distinct things about the tattoo and something Hutch says. He said “I’m the last person you want to see at your door”, implying as an “auditor”, if someone had him at their door, they were dead.
    The 7/2 off suit can have two meanings. The cards are facing outwards, not inwards. So they’re in the position that the person facing Hutch would read their cards. Basically if Hutch is there, they’ve been dealt the worst possible hand and they’re screwed. The second meaning is kind of cool, the 7 of spades represents “loss/a coffin” and the 2 of diamonds represents “trouble”, so together their meaning is…well…you’re dead.

    • @ivenstorm
      @ivenstorm Před 2 lety

      It means neither. 2 spaced out cards off suit are the worst poker hand possible. That he was given an impossible mission, one where it was guaranteed that he was going to die, and he not only come back alive but he completed his mission successfully. Meaning, ergo, he isn't a person to mess with as he can win with a million to one odds stacked against him.

    The tattoo on Hutch's wrist, a Seven of Spades and a Two of Diamonds, is statistically the worst possible starting hand you can be dealt in Texas Hold 'Em, since they are the lowest two cards that cannot make a straight there are four cards between 2 and 7, and both of them are off-suit. Meaning if you ever see these two cards, you should fold immediately, because you are most likely never going to win. I absolutely love the writers of the fight scenes in John Wick, Nobody, and Daredevil. The last one might not be the same writer but all 3 actually have the main character take damage and look and act hurt during the fights. It’s make the fights so much better!

    Showing teh mortality of a character is what makes a good action show/movie. That's why I absolutely love Daredevil the Marvel show. I think it's one of the best shows, not just a good superhero show ever. They take damage. And there are consequences to it. You really feel scared for the character. It makes you all the more better when the character finally beats the bad guy.

    When you guys reacted to this I purposefully skipped the video so I could come back and watch it later when I'd seen the film. Well, after missing it in cinemas, i've finally just seen it and omg, what a movie. That's definitely in my top 10 of all time movies for me. It was perfect. It had everything I wanted and had hoped for and more. I hope they make a bunch of sequels like John Wick.

    7 2 cards tattoo represents the unluckiest hand you can possibly have in a poker game, which means that the wearer of the tattoo has gone through the most unfortunate, unlucky and difficult things in their career and yet still came out on top.
    Essentially it’s a tattoo to say you’re a badass.

    Nobody is so cool in the sense that its the opposite of John Wick in every way. John loses his family while Hutch saves his. Everyone knows who John Wick is but no one knows who Hutch is. John is clean and efficient but Hutch is brutal and slow due to his age. John wants to leave his past behind but Hutch wants any excuse to go back to how he was. The movie's name Nobody is a double meaning for No Body. He is an expert in killing people and literally leaving no connection. The way he burns the bodies in the basement with his home leaving no trace. Everything about this movie is so cool.
