For those who have a previous router and are using M1, you have to plug the ethernet cable from your huawei modem directly into your m4 and give M1 a call asking them to enable the new router address before it can work. Perhaps, you could explain the pros and cons between mesh vs using multiple access points with the same SSIDs, the speed difference, the difference between the handover between APs and what not, and even compare with using an actual wireless controller with thin APs or ASUS / Singtel versions of mesh products :)
Or even the difference with estimated cost/metre for wiring with trunking / concealed behind walls

Wow, great video on network setup! Mesh seems to be really good, dont have to reconnect to another network. Hope i'm lucky enough for this Deco M4!

great intro to those getting mesh. google additional wifi point does not have additional lan ports, they only have (1) direct input to have it broadcast its wifi signal

This is really helpful and detail information. I am struggling trying to fix my Wi-Fi challenges in my current house without LAN layout in the rooms. Tried a few options but never close to optimum. Would definitely adopt your recommendation. Cheers

Thanks for the tips! Amazed at your wifi speeds and realised that ISP stock routers can be inferior. would love to win this to improve the wifi set up for the house!

I have been complaining to my husband about the poor network in our home as we only have one router at the DB box but he does nothing, hope to win this giveaway and install it myself to show it to my husband that this is done so easily and he shouldn’t procrastinate.

  • @I_killed_that_beard_guy

Actually I use my ISP's stock router and it's pretty good and I have added another router Archer C6 as an access point now my whole home is in coverage, for seamless connectivity SSID on both is same, it works pretty good.
But whenever I will upgrade in future I will definately go for mesh system. Very nice video 👍
