      same reason all that's happening in Africa thanks to russia isn't getting headlines either.
      far away and trump and brexit are more recognizable tv shows. ppl watch marvel films not maltese indie films.
      Until Macron made a fuss about it nobody cared what was going on in Africa to former european colonies and I'd argue much of Europe still doesn't care no matter how much it affects us. Ukraine is burning closer to home and we don't do much about it either.

    That so-called 'foreign agent' bill should NEVER have been reintroduced to begin with. However, it should NEVER have come into existence to begin with as well. 'Georgian Dream' ought to step aside and surrender power to the Georgian masses once and for all. That 'bill' likened to the one from Russia back in 2012 should NEVER be signed into law at all.

    Maybe I misunderstand it, but in part this law seems to make sense to me.
    Clearly it can be in the interest of a country and its citizens to know where foreign investments come from? Could help against sellout of the country to some third party?
