@@lilesmw Good fishing is hard to find. I’ve been pulling channel cats from the same spot on The Sacramento for several years but only one from the same spot with the same bait. Go figure. Maybe next year with the recovery of bait fish and the Shad run.

Why wouldn’t he have a machete or kaiser blade to use in the trailer? Law Enforcement ?
he normally does have a machete with him he may have just forgot it this trip!! frankly though with gators and especially hogs if it was me they'd be a big bore pistol on my hip as well as a machete!! trust me hogs are nothing to be naive about i saw one on a hunting trip tear up 3 pitbull's killing 2 of them before anyone could shoot it!
