I would LOVE to see a reboot or a movie special with ALL of the original cast. This show was so well done. I only discovered it shortly before lockdown. Don't know how I ever missed it originally.
Jake is absolutely perfect in this role. Cutish, tall and slender, funny as all hell, caring/loving father/husband. I read about him on Wiki and he had a real interesting childhood. I just wish he wasn't wearing his shorts most of the time while at home.
I just recently in the past 2 months discovered this great addiction called Medium! I love the whole cast, especially the whole Dubois family. The plots are awesome! I think Weber and Arquette are PERFECT for each other as Joe and Allison Dubois! I LOVE THE SHOW!!!!!
I absolutely adore both of these actors! They are both very under rated and under used. They deserve much better roles and bigger movies. And Jake Weber threw out several words with accent. I think others aren't listening close enough. The longer you speak without it and speak and listen to those without it, it slowly dissipates.
i am realy crazy about this story its been years later because i can relate to this story sometimes i also dream things things of the future i injoyed every season and episode i wish it never came to a end
Love watching Medium! I just found the show, long after it ended. I'm watching on Amazon Prime. Love Joe and Allison's relationship. With four kids myself, I wish my husband and I had the same healthy dynamics that Joe and Allison have. Love how Joe respects Allison's gift (albeit grudgingly at times) and that he is not intimidated by her or her gift. He is so confident in himself and at the same time so loving and humble towards her family. He really is the wind beneath Allison's wings. And Allison... I love how strong she is. Both in dealing with her gift, raising her children and balancing it all. he really is a heroine... she perseveres despite it all. Despite questioning herself, her gift, her role as a mother, etc. And she is so vulnerable and loving with her husband. Wish the show would come back!
I always thought that this guy (Jake) was David Cubbit, because of the credits in the beginning of the show, just watched the dvd's of all the season's and found out he was Jake weber....LOL
I can't be the only one that really don't understand the usage of music, nor the choise of it, during the interview. The interview itself is interresting enough....
Loved the show. Have watched it at least twice on Hulu and other avenues. I live in the Phoenix area - and have learned that Allison DuBois is the real deal. I follow her to this day. Loved both of the characters and the full cast (very well cast in my opinion). Jake Weber great as Joe and goes without saying about Patricia. I always wanted to know if they mimicked the real Allison and Joe.
Happy B-day Jake T. Weber. I love Dawn Of The Dead and White House Down. May the Peace be with u. From Harlingen Texas. March 19, 1964 March 19, 2020 through March 19, 3020
Mediums do not have an easy life. It is like this "gift" takes your life away and they kind of incorporate your time. This show is based in a real life Alice DuBois but in an interview to Tyra Banks she mentioned how depressing can be to deal with all that issues of death or murders.
Damn! Jake is too much sexy man energy for me to watch! If he let his full-on English accent come through...I'd have to politely excuse myself from here. 😉🤭
Laura San Giacomo guest starred in the 9th episode of season 7 of “Medium” (CBS), titled, “The People In Your Neighborhood”. It aired the same day the plastic went over the hoops: Nov. 19, 2010. Despite the hoops coming from the 111 RIVER OAKS address, it’s unrelated to San Giacomo playing Crazy Cora in 1990’s “QUIGley Down Under” or the RIVER putting milTON D. QUIGless’ (238-70-1209) former office “down under” in 1999. Tom Selleck’s “Blue Bloods” bookended CBS’s 11/19/2010 primetime at 10 PM
I like Medium very much! And I love the person the protagonist is based on Alison Dubois! She have giv me very much comfort in my sorrow then I have lost my mom in cancer! Thanks to Alison Dubois and ever more Sylvia Browne I know my mom is still alive on the other side! And I gonna met her again when the time is ready! Without people like Alison Dubois and Sylvia Browne I have killed myself long time ago! So those people are the reason I still alive!
Interesting to see them both interviewed as themselves. They actually reflect more of their characters than one would expect. Arquette sort of languidly rolls through her questions in an almost ditzy fashion whereas Webber tosses out words like "dichotomy" and speeds through his analysis like an economist dissecting Wall Street. I miss Medium. One of the few tv couples I actually envied...though Allison could be a little selfish at times.
In “Quigley Down Under”, Tom Selleck was Matthew QUIGley -an American cowboy hired by ELLiot MARsTON to work in Australia. MARsTON is unrelated to the “lined thru 7” doc or 238-70-1209 despite 1999’s regional event. Alan SIDNEY Patrick Rickman (b. 1946) played ELLiot MARsTON and shares a FEB. 21 birthday with actor Kelsey Grammer (b. 1955), whose Dr. Frasier Crane could have treated San Giacomo’s Crazy Cora. Unrelated: O.J. Simpson’s daughter SYDNEY turning 5 the day “QUIGley” opened: 10/17/90
"QUIGley Down Under" is set in AUSTRALIA. Laura San Giacomo as Crazy CORA in the film is unrelated to: U.S. Olympic basketball player GRANT HENRY Hill in the 2000 SYDNEY games; Hill playing college basketball in CAMERON Indoor Stadium at DurHAM, NC's Duke Univ.; San Giacomo's marriage to CAMERON DYE (1990-1998); Oreo race illusion (DYE); CORA married to MORGAN State alum; HILL endorsing Italian sporting goods maker FILA; FILA USA being based in SPARKS, Maryland; voting Pat Ballentine (R) in '04
Damn I'm going to miss these two together. They were the ultimate TV family.
I would LOVE to see a reboot or a movie special with ALL of the original cast. This show was so well done. I only discovered it shortly before lockdown. Don't know how I ever missed it originally.

Almost every episode he's always reminding her what time it is! LMAO
The perfect, devoted husband and Father.
Jake is absolutely perfect in this role. Cutish, tall and slender, funny as all hell, caring/loving father/husband. I read about him on Wiki and he had a real interesting childhood.
I just wish he wasn't wearing his shorts most of the time while at home.
I miss Medium. I got into it a little late, but the show rocked my socks. I just wish there was a way to bring it back.

He def has an accent. Subtle yes....but it's there.
im gonna miss this perfect couple ,I cried with the final episode :(
I really, really loved that show.
Background music is annoying. Not at the gym. It's an interview.
Very well said! 👍
At times it's actually hard to hear what they're saying.
girasolegaio2016 Yes its horrible, it would be really bad even at a Disco.

"Joe" was the best "TV Dad" ever.
Just started watching, so good!!
Its on the level of something on HBO or showtime .
sadly a show like this wouldn’t be allowed today.
Hi, watching on Amazon Prime. Just started S4. Curious, why do you say it would not be allowed now?
I love Patricia's laugh :)
Have only just started watching "Medium" great show scripts, and actors!🇦🇺💖😇
love this show I sure am going to miss it
I always thought that this guy (Jake) was David Cubbit, because of the credits in the beginning of the show, just watched the dvd's of all the season's and found out he was Jake weber....LOL
Love this show and when she is on screen she is magnetic! Also like the Hitchcock-like theme music. Oh, and Jake in his boxers is always a treat too.
It was one of my favorite programs.
I realy miss the show...
Love this show. BRING IT BACK
They say behind every great man is a great women can also be said the other way round.

I can't be the only one that really don't understand the usage of music, nor the choise of it, during the interview. The interview itself is interresting enough....
You are not the only one. I'm here!
I TOTALLY SHIP THEM,GOD!
I'm at the school Jason weber used to go to! Infact, he's soon coming back for a reunion. Hope to meet him soon!
John Ferrer who is Jason Weber?
Aw crap, they said next week is the "Series Finale" and on Wikipedia it says it's going to be cancelled. All the shows I like get cancelled.
Love Love Joe's character ❤ And I admire Allison's too😊
Loved the show. Have watched it at least twice on Hulu and other avenues. I live in the Phoenix area - and have learned that Allison DuBois is the real deal. I follow her to this day. I like them both it's so cool 😘
I love Patricia Arquette.
Oh my god, she's so different as Alison. Joe and Alison look so much in love in Medium. Now they act like strangers :)
it is called acting
They are so cute together..
Happy B-day Jake T. Weber. I love Dawn Of The Dead and White House Down. May the Peace be with u. From Harlingen Texas. March 19, 1964
March 19, 2020 through March 19, 3020
@lialammas
yes, you're right, but her name is actually "allison" dubois ;)
Mediums do not have an easy life. It is like this "gift" takes your life away and they kind of incorporate your time.
This show is based in a real life Alice DuBois but in an interview to Tyra Banks she mentioned how depressing can be to deal with all that issues of death or murders.
I love them.....USA, lets go😍👍💕
I really like Mr. Weber he is very attractive
She said many times she has always had the ability. Now they are saying they discovered the ability at the beginning of the show.
Reboot Medium! Reboot Medium! Reboot Medium! Reboot Medium!
yes
please
Yes, it could be a dream sequence...but it actually makes sense for this series!
Yes!!
Ficaria feliz se estivesse legendado em português 🙏Assisti a série completa, mas não falo inglês 😿
PLEASE WE NEED MORE MEDIUM...
We can’t stream this either😢
stop that musicccccccc
Music is f...anoying!
I wish there was a man and father like Joe. He’s so sexy, and the best husband and dad. Ugh, I wish there was real men like that.
he's cute guy
The drum drama behind the voices is very distracting! A conversation doesn't have to be orchestrated to be interesting.
I hate that music. It is distracting but it makes me laugh. WHY?
Damn! Jake is too much sexy man energy for me to watch! If he let his full-on English accent come through...I'd have to politely excuse myself from here. 😉🤭
ich liebe beide charaktere dieser serie! ich schau medium uch immer wnn ich kann bin gerdae bei der 6 staffel! ;)
@Anthrax2404 yea and the littlest one is so cute you can't tell if she's good or not ;)
Very sad the end.

Interesting to see them both interviewed as themselves. They actually reflect more of their characters than one would expect. He is a great actor. I would like to see him play more parts.
