    Softer, smoother and more flexible than nearly any Bible I’ve reviewed.

    I would love to have one like yours. When I checked the website, the Bible has a cross emblem on the front cover. I would prefer plain. Thanks for sharing. Blessings❣️

    I love how well thought out the whole Schuyler package is. Very nice clam shell boxes; gold or silver printing to indicate gold or silver page edging and printing on the Bible; the box being printed specific to the translation and edition of Schuyler Bible inside; the Jerusalem cross being printed on the front of the box if the Bible has it stamped on the cover.
    I think the Jerusalem cross is on everything they make now, not sure if we'll see a cover without it again. But the consistency of quality, and the excellent design only seem to get better as they keep making these Bibles. I now think Schuyler are the best brand for premium Bibles simply because of how much you get for the price. They're less expensive than Allen Bibles, and even some Cambridge Bibles, but provide the same excellence of design, materials and workmanship.

    I’ve bought 3 Schuyler’s. Only knock on them are the thin pages, and don’t let the gold glit get wet at all. The leather and binding will least forever though

      What Schuyler a did you buy and which one is your favourite?

    • @anthonyjames4319
      @anthonyjames4319 Před rokem

      @@alankilpatrick2788 the thinline was the perfect size but they don’t make them anymore. The personal sizes are good but a tad small. The full size quentels are gigantic.

      Thanks for that - by thinline quentel do you mean the ones with 28gsm paper?

    • @anthonyjames4319
      @anthonyjames4319 Před rokem

      @@alankilpatrick2788 Yes. The paper doesn’t really feel any different and the book size itself served as a medium between the original quentel and the personal quentel. I have bought all 3 sizes in various translations. I would recommend the personal size quentel in whatever translation you like. Schuylers are the best quality built Bible I have ever come across.

    I love verse by verse but the beauty of this bible is tempting me to buy it

    How has the leather held up over time? I’ve heard the calfskin Patina’s nicely. Has yours gotten darker or lighter in places? I have the psq and mine came quiet dark but I love it

      Hey! Just saw this, sorry. Mine actually continues to look just as it did new. I haven’t noticed any areas of excess wear/lightening/darkening.

    Congratulations on your new Bible...it's gorgeous, but to be honest with you, once you get your PSQ, and you will someday, just start saving $20 a month, this larger one will end up on the shelf :) Also the PSQ seems easier to read.

    You seemed disappointed by the ghosting. I personally do not want to spend this amount for aesthetics and vanity reason and be disappointed by ghosting. I would rather have a duck taped binding and coffee stains than deal with ghosting.

    • @Psalm144.1
      @Psalm144.1 Před 4 lety

      The PSQ is the least ghosting of the premium Bibles. It's my favorite, and very much for that reason.
