1883 was the most beautiful filming I have seen in a long time.. I loved every episode and was moved to tears several times!

My family arrived in Southern Alberta In 1912. It just isn't that long ago. The best Western I've. Ever seen.

My biggest problem with (1883) is that they never ran into the Buffalo Soldiers. In 1883, the Buffalo Soldiers (9th & 10th Calvery) were in Texas & Oklahoma.
That and a Railroad existed to get to Oregon by 1869 rather than pioneer by 1883. Oregon trail was 1840-60
