- It's finally complete! Van Haven have completed their work on the ultimate MTB van build. The challenge was to get as much practicality and usability into a long wheel base VW Transporter van, the T6.1. There have been countless upgrades, from a double thickness carbon pop top roof, an insane new steering wheel and then the full MTBR mountain bike conversion in the back of the van, which allows me to ride, clean and keep three of my bike safe on roadtrips. Buzzing! In this episode I collect the van and take it proper off road driving and riding.

Shit guys, a lot of farmers near me have had multiple quadbikes stolen and even a telehandler, not missing out the countless gates at desolate roadsides. :( Totally totally sucks.

You should totally install a removable bike stand to the side of your van. Like this when you want to clean your bike you « plug » the bike stand to the side of your van, hang your bike and you can clean it without it being on the floor.
I think The slide out tray in the back has a sump plug so the cleaning can be done on that

Sick van!!! I’m so stoked for you! Tip: When you mount you front tire rest the bars upside on the slider tray (or rear bumper if closed ) to keep them out of the mud and rocks. (I use this trick with my converted van.)
I think you should peel off the van haven stickers but the mtbr and the mucoff stickers look really good on that van

Put a bungee cord or two through all the bike wheels to stop them battering your frames if you get a bit keen behind the wheel... (Likely)👌
For the red bull fridge get foam sections cut out and stuck to bottom and top of the fridge so it will be able to move forward and backwards with force

Diff lock's definitely needed if you want to take any decent sized wheelbase van off road, You try that in one without a disconnect and watch 3 out of 4 wheels just spin like mad and get absolutely nowhere.

I want a van like that so badly. That is the sickest thing I’ve ever seen. I’ve loved watching the van build vids and I hope to see the van more often. My dream wrap for any car (preferably the van) is to do a half satin black and half snow camo wrap with a blue or red stripe down the middle.
