I love all your tutorials, I have been learning to silversmith for a few months now, that got me interested in wire wrapping. Not sure how I found your channel but your design ideas were just what I was looking for, clean and contemporary. Looking forward to your wrap maker pliers being back in stock.

You should patent your home made pliers! They are awesome 😎
Funny you should say that...A patent and some other great things for those are in the works. Thanks for watching.
@Ben Hammac Thank you. I'm glad that you are enjoying my work. I really want to make wire art as popular as other types of jewelry making. I think it's a great way to create unique and stylish jewelry.

@@JimMcIntosh Your so welcome and Thank You so much for sharing Jim.
I'm getting ready to try wire wrapping on some tumbled stones. I like the look of the curved wire on top of the stone and how it acts like a giant prong to secure it. I'm wondering if the wire could be hardened against the stone after it's wrapped, with the thought of making it stronger. Could that be done with the rawhide mallet? or maybe heat?
In the past I have used a rawhide mallet to harden wire while it is on the stone. I really don't do that too often anymore. When you do this you run the risk of breaking the stone along the natural fracture lines in it.

Thanks for your response. I think learning wire wrapping will involve a lot of experimenting to get a feel for what works best. But I like experimenting, so it's all good.
i bought all your books. just finish reading through the most current print ''the new look of wire art". great books. i still need to buy wire. do you have suggestions where i can buy them in canada? great videos, always! keep up the great work, mary..
Thank you for watching and I'm glad that you enjoyed my books. I purchase all of my wire from Rio Grande. I do believe that they ship to Canada. Thanks again for your kind words.
@@JimMcIntosh i love it i will try it for a christmas presant, than you and stay safe, god bless
@@donnaarmenia2062 Thank you

Use the link for the wire wrap pliers but it’d saying that your site cannot be found
Sorry about that....I put the wrong address in there. Thanks for letting me know.
Very disappointed to not see the stone shown wire wrapped. The one done was beautiful but I was looking forward to the tear drop pendant
I'm sorry. The one you are speaking of was one I made previously to use as a sample to help in the creation process.
Email address so I can send photos
I assume that you found my email address since I received the beautiful pictures of the piece that you made. They turned out wonderfully. Keep up the beautiful work.
