On the Senior game field, the robot will help restoring a city after a natural disaster. The robot will rebuild houses, clean the streets from debris and will repair water pipes.
Is it timed? We are exploring starting WRO for next year, coming from FLL and having a team that has been disappointed in the FTC experience. Our programmers did not enjoy just making a glirified remote control car.

My oldest has spent two years as a team of one in FTC with between 2 and 4 humanoid space holders masquerading as boys who do not want a girl teammate. She designed, built, coded and drove her robot both years solo and is sick of it (it is a class so the rest are taking it for the easy A). WRO looks interesting to her since the teams are already that small and she knows she can find like minded kids interested coming up from the middle school's FLL program.

My tips are doing the mission that are easier first to secure points, then slowly work on getting more points and increasing the speed of the robot Consistency is still the main goal for doing WRO mission
With 1 motor controlling the lifting mechanism and 1 motor controlling the grabbing mechanism, it will work, but wont be able to finish the whole mission under 2 min is take the object 1 by 1

He is just showing you the challenge, not really claiming the dummy robot of the video to be a solution. It's moved manually, after all.
