My friend Mr. Lynx let me borrow his Patton while I'm waiting on my new wheel 👍👍😁😁
He also gave me permission to make some changes to it if I wanted to, so indeed I did! lol
I swapped the pads backwards to get more leaning access in the front and extra breaking capabilities in the back.(My favorite pads are actually Kinetic 2.0 on Hulaj Market). Also he had some awesome grizzly toe pads which I took off and put the stock toe pads where I could be able to set my feet back a little more. At times I wish I had the Kinetics or Grizzlas to have something more to grip on to but as i have it I feel closer to the COG center of gravity. I also adjusted the dihedral angle of the pedals more steep rather than very flat, helps with staying planted and helps the wheel not drop to the sides. I adjusted my angle of the Euc +1° up in the front. Oh yeah and I removed the risers he had on the rides pedals. 😁

I was playing with mine earlier today and reach top speed of 38 lol. I love the playfulness of the wheel , and its nimble nature, but it all feels 100% perfect for it to feel nimble due to its size. Shinko 241 is the bomb, i love that tire for the Patton. Im glad I didnt sell mine :p

I want to have your honest review. Did you encouter any problem with it ? Do you like the model ? I want to buy the lynx but i dont see why I should pay 1K more for basicly the same wheel. I'm not someone who rides 80km rides that often. The only thing scaring me is that people have sudden cut outs on the patton and the waterproofing is not that great

I received my Patton through my dealer James von Crofton with NextGenMobility. The Patton came in perfect shape I had no gripes about it and no safety concerns. It is very well made and waterproofed well. My friend had his Patton before me and recommended it to me. He's had his under water in a creek with no issues, if you really wanted to add water sealing you could but i never found it necessary. I babied mine so I kept it out of water didn't ride in the rain-- my scooters and wheels normally are kept out of the rain for my personal concern but how it is built i think it would have been fine. My only trouble was trying to feel stable on road with a knobby tire but you can easily fix that by getting a street tire or switching to the Golden boy Shinko241 which is an excellent tire and I highly recommend. The concern about cutouts is user error, these guys are fully charging wheels accelerating hard and then braking which recharges the batteries but when they are fully charged the Patton gives you a series of beeps. If you pass the threshold of beeps which is your last chance for warning of course the wheel will cutout...that's any wheel. You can alleviate this by no heavy braking charged to 100 or only charge to a lower amount 95 or 90. It's really not a big concern and I've driven high speeds on a low charge. If you take care of your wheel it will take care of you. By now you've passed the 1st batches and the wheels have no concerns and have newer firmwares available. Lastly the Lynx is not the same as the Patton. Two different animals. Both very capable. Please contact me for more info as this is getting quite lengthy :)
