Those are just coins...a lot of old coins had holes in the center, a lot of people would punch out holes in the center to steal small bits of certain currency, especially copper. So governments would start doing this purposefully to prevent it from happening...its the same reason Americas 25 cent piece has the outer ridges, people used to file them down to make an extra buck

Fun fact, the "dinosaur with a sail" at 13:30ish is not a dinosaur! It's a Dimetrodon, an early synapsid relation of mammals. It's not a mammal itself, but it's closer to mammals than reptiles! It's like our great-uncle, if you go back a few hundred million years.
We now know the truth, DF is why the dinosaurs went extinct.
