- This is a video showcasing Buggy's moveset in Pirate Warriors 3. I left out the Special Attacks, since you can easily find those in other videos on CZcams. For the same reason, I only show the moveset itself, and not against actual enemies, unless the move is better demonstrated against enemies, such as grabs and grapples.
Because of his Devil Fruit ability, Buggy has a lot of moves that leave his body in a scattered state, with several body parts detached from him and acting independently. If you mash Square while his body parts are detached, he'll repeatedly do swing kicks while walking forward. If you mash Triangle while his body parts are detached, he'll throw his legs around like a boomerang.

I'll admit, Buggy compared to other characters feels very difficult to use.
Abigdummy4life not at all, he have big area skills around him and he can hit 2 area at the same time. He is like Byakuya from Bleach. I like him, he can be crazy op and funny in animations. XXXXX is imposible long hitstun make easy to future spam on strong enemy.

Thing is for me which I failed to elaborate on earlier:
*His strings are easily interrupted by enemies in Nightmare Log, especially the stronger units
*Trying to fit his R1 into attack strings feels difficult
*Direct-combat feels very dangerous with him since he also has more DPS than huge damage burst, which makes it very hard to stun strong units consistently
That's mainly what I wanted to elaborate on. Characters like Law and Lucci feel up my alley since they have solid stun-inducing tools and powerful offense off of that alone on a strong enemy.
Also swillio is a god at this game; he knows how to dash cancel like a god, while dash cancelling with Buggy feels very awkward.
With Buggy I just have little idea of how to safely build up Kizuna Gauge in a big burst like most other characters outside of using Specials.

Buggy is difficult to play but he's op as Fujitora if you know exactly how to play him
