Work took me to Skibbereen for a few months a couple of years ago. I lived in apartments just off the Main Street. It was the winter months so I got to see Skibb decorated for Christmas; beautiful. Loved the town and it’s people. Thanks for uploading Nikki.
Hi , my great ,great grandmother was born in st Patrick's skibereen in 1861 , so im trying to find out some history of the family & weather there are any family members still around
Hi Derek, The best place I can guide you too would be the Skibbereen Heritage centre, they have their own website, other than that I don't have anything that could help you, You say St Patrick's but this is a cathedral in the town, unsure if this would be the correct location, perhaps baptised there? Family history is collated in the Heritage centre, so the best place to start. I hope this helps.
