I had the same T2 muscle invasive grade two bladder cancer. I just went through 6 chemo treatments and 32 radiation treatments. Chemo was brutal. Hello from Knoxville. After two days of pissing blood and a 3" clot, I went to UT hospital. I had two double catheters and they took the tumor out but I have a long way to go. I have small cell bladder cancer and it is highly aggressive but the good news is that we caught it early. I am booking many appointments and I know I am in for a fight, my prognosis is not good. Even if your cancer differs, I need the hope you give.

I was diagnosed with stage 2 bladder cancer. 2nd half of 2019. My doctor wanted to give my bladder. I refused and opted to undergo chemo and radiation, instead. The tumor was not found in early 2020. But 4
Months later, I started seeing blood in my urine. My urine culture shows the blood was due to Radiation Cystitis, and not the tumor. But a few
      Months the later
Eventually, the tumor some back. I still opt NOT to remove my bladder. Instead,. I tried alternative medicine, ie., Vitamin C IV, vegetable juicing,. take Kyolic Aged Garlic extract, Frankincense topical medication. Last June 21, 2022 I underwent Cystoscopy,. The results showed that my bladder tumor was gone. As of now, I am continuing old my regimen to prevent the tumor from spreading and coming back. I am 70 years old.

I'm so glad you are doing okay now Mary Beth. Four years ago I began to have urgency to go to the bathroom. I had scans which picked up nothing. Then I began to pass blood. This was followed by a cystoscopy where they found a tumor. I had many T.U.R.B.T procedures for the next two years, then a partial cystectomy. Then I had BCG, which gave me sepsis twice and I was very ill the 2nd time. After that 14 months of Keytruda and then a few weeks ago a new tumor appeared, which was high grade cancer. I now await a radical cystectomy and I will have to have a stoma. Perhaps because I've been battling this for 4 years, the shock is not as much as when I first was diagnosed. I'm sure I will get through this. My lucky lining is that the cancer has not spread, so it will be gone with the bladder. I urge many to be aware of symptoms, like frequency and go to see a doctor right away.

@UC7S_BmbM17iWutky-uX8eZQ Thank you for asking. The surgery was an eye-opener, much more pain than I'd anticipated. I lost lots of weight and my appetite, but now, three months post surgery, I am feeling great again. Took me a while to get used to the 'pouches', but now that they stay on properly, I can honestly say that there are times when I forget I have a pouch. Anyone having this surgery, just need to hang--in-there, as you will get used to it. I hope you are doing well Mary 🥰
