Fantastic footage of the area! I have everything planned already, but then i stumbled upon this area and want to go here and somehow squeeze it in my travel plans. It's probably best to go here from Osaka. Did you go back to Osaka after this? i wonder how long it takes to go there and back and explore the area. Is this train faster than other trains?
Great looking channel! Greetings from Latvia!
We did return back to Osaka, and we arrived at the station around 10PM. It's a long train ride, but very relaxing and quiet. We ate Family Mart to go meals on the train ride home.
Rough Schedule of what we did:
From Osaka Station (7:40AM) - Kii-Katsuura Staion (11:40AM) [Kuroshio Limited Express Shingu] Kii-Katsuura Station (11:50AM) - Nachi-no-Taki-mar (12:14PM) [Nachisan Bus]. Roughly spend around 4 hrs. Nachi-no-Taki-mae (4:24PM) - Kii-Katsuura Station (4:48PM) [Nachisan Bus] Kii-Katsuura Station (6:04PM) - Osaka Station (10:02PM) [Kuroshio Limited Express Shin-Osaka]
Correct, Kuroshio Limited Express is the faster train than others
@@r2travels Thanks for the detailed info! do you think 4 hours is enough? Thinking about maybe cancelling something and staying for the night in Nachi and going to the falls early in the morning . 8 hours in the train in 1 day seems a bit crazy, but maybe its not that bad 😀
@JumisVisuals 4 hours was enough for us. We had lunch there and we also took a break to have ice cream so we weren't in a rush. We didn't do much souvenir shopping. Technically you can do 5 hours there then hop on the train, but a lot of the stores around Nachi Falls close around 5PM and also the stores around the train station close around that time too, so there isn't much things to do after Nachi Falls in the evening.
Being on the train for 8 hours wasn't so bad if you have a reserved seat. We were able to kill the time pretty easily, since its pretty smooth and quiet so you can take a nap, eat, and drink.
Hello. How long is it to walk from the waterfalls to the Pagoda? Is it too many stairs? Thank you.
Hi @cwaltherp22. From the bottom of the waterfall to the pagoda it took us 46 mins. (I looked at my video time stamps). Within that time frame we took pictures, videos, tried the Omikuji (fortune sheets), and took a few breaks as it's all uphill with many stairs. Luckily, they do have bamboo sticks to help with the walk, but if you were in a hurry I would say you could probably cut that time in half.
Thanks for the video, thinking about this for next year also as a day trip from Osaka. Would you say it is enough time or too much travel for one day? Thank you
I would say its enough time for a day trip, since your just relaxing on a train for 4 hours each way so you can relax before Nachi Falls and recoup energy afterwards. Just be aware that it takes the whole day.

Was it weekday or weekend when you visited the place? And was it crowded? Thanks I’m advance.
I went on a weekday, it was on a Monday. It wasn't crowded at all, and we didn't wait in line for anything. Didn't feel rushed to get any where.
Did you take the bullet or regular train?
We took a regular train called, "Kuroshio Limited Express". You can't get there by bullet train from Osaka to Nachi Falls.
