If Trey Lance gets fully healthy, The 49ers will be formidable. This young man has matured and it sounds like he's ready to start training camp tomorrow. I know this season The 49ers were a QB deficit, this season will be different.

A cool operator, our Trey ! He must be have been sacrificing to the dark gods for Purdy's injury. That was his ultimate lifeline before beeing relegated to a "busted 1st rd pick / potential backup" career. Now he has another chance to compete for QB1, he knows it, and can't wait to go for it. That's probably why he's so open and relaxed, basking in his (temporary ?) good fortune.

@@lindatinjum2944 Right off the bat Rich had to remind him that he wasn't alone and in fact was supported by guys like Chris and TJ. Not only did Trey Lance need that nudge to acknowledge them but he had an awkward reply when TJ joked about filming his ankle. Again one of the biggest fans before I realized how thin-skinned he was underneath all that athleticism. He needs to grow up and have his personality match his athletic prowess or he won't see the light of day. Great sacrifices must be made to succeed in this game and less intelligent players have picked this up sooner than Trey. I'm still rooting for him but not while he's actively rooting against himself like this.

He’s played 4 games in his career so far and has been injured 3 times the public is aware of.
If he makes it to Week 1 without an injury he won’t make it past about Week 3 before he sustains yet another season ending injury. We can’t call Trey Lance a bust yet but he sure is looking like one so far.
