I sincerely hope that find find the tips in this video to be helpful and valuable! Many people get in cosmetology school and think "Who is getting blow dry styles?" but they are actually used all the time in the industry across multiple hair textures and curl patterns. Blow dry styling can be a great way to style hair more quickly with less direct heat on the hair. You can also blow the hair out rather smooth, prior to flat ironing so you don't end up needing to use as high of heat on a flat iron. Ultimately, it is an excellent time saving technique, that can help you earn more in the salon!

Wow i remember when you only had 10k subs when i found you. You taught me how to braid and now everyone at school asks me to braid their hair because mine are so "signature" which is just professional because you taught me how. Much love
As a upcoming cosmetologist student I will be buying this mannequin and following all your tutorials
I need to try the brush again. Im that person that gets it tangled n stuck, pulling n frizzing out the hair, n frustrated af!😣 But I've never seen anyone explain their technique while they use the brush. They always blow-dry in silence. So this was awesome!! Tyfs! ❤️🙌
My joy! I genuinely hope it helps! I teach hair for a living, so I’ve seen MANY students get combs and brushes stuck. It’s a pretty common mistake 😊❤️
Same here dear
Same
Lol blow dry in silence. But he is a excellent teacher of hair.
I’m a hairdressing learner and your videos makes it really easy to pick up the technique, thank you!
There's no way he doesn't have to wake all of his clients up when he's done. I bet he soothes every one of them to sleep, like a whole massage session. 🥰
LOL it has happened on MANY occasions! 😂
@@GetGlamFam 😂😂😂 I wud definitely be one of them!
I learned the correct placement of the round brush while blowdrying and the correct round brush to use for thick, could hair. Thanks Linwood.
You explain everything so well. You are a wonderful teacher. Thank you 😊
This was like a GlamFam Master Class!! Thank u. Im not a stylist but i definitely learned something💕
Thank you for showing your technique. I kept trying to figure out why the hair kept frizzing but when I watched you and you explained why it made me so happy! Thank you so much! I'm going to practice because I really want to get good at round brushing.
I learned ALOT about all the different brushes. Thank you
You are an awesome teacher. I am glad that I found your channel. Keep up with the amazing work. I will be back watching more videos.
thanks Linwood, as always, you've taught us such useful things! I can't wait to show this to my stylist!
What a difference these tips make! Great video, thanks!
new fave, this guy really knows his stuff, appreciate it

You are the best teacher ever! I’m so grateful I found you 😍.
Yess just the video I’ve been looking for thank you!
Love your professionalism, humor and kindness...keep it up GLAMFAM
Thank you so very much! 😊🙏🏽
These details are gold!
Thank you this was very helpful. I wasn’t sure how to use those types of brushes for drying hair.😊
thank you so much for this, this is like one of the only tutorials that explain thoroughly and show the process clearly !!
Lots of great tips. Very educational. Thanks!
Thank YOU! I’ve been trying to find a video that explains blow drying hair in more depth. This was super helpful. I’ll try it when I get home and get 1800 watts blow dryer!
Thank you for explaining how you do this. I've attempted styling my own hair with a round brush and a blow dryer with that attachment but since I did NOT know the proper technique, my hair went EVERYWHERE. I will have to try this out and see if I can do it.
Thank you so much. I’m going to be practising this today.
Thank you very much for showing us the blow out and all the tips. I will be using them. I am partial to my new blow dryer, the Rusk Speed Freak. I think tourmaline is what I'm looking for in a blow dryer and I think it's 2,000 watts. I use different brushes as I blow out. I use the Ibiza, large barrel, Chaz Dean (Wen) hair brush and Sam Villa brush. I'm a Wen girl and my hair is better now than when I was 20. Again, thank you, your video was straight to the point and not all that rhetoric. Very well done! XO
Love how this turned out 💕
Always giving us gold nuggets!! 🙌👏 You are hands down one of the best educators I've ever seen. You take the time to be thorough and considerate of the fact that you may have beginners watching and we need guidance!! (Well I know I do 😂)

I'd love to see you blowdry some type 4 hair. Can you "blowdry and style" our hair (or am I fantasizing about that??)?
I want to see him to I do but I have seen type 4 get blowed dryed with a round brush before
@@latoyawinston1007 agreed. Me too. They usually have to follow that up with a flat iron or flexi rods or something else. He was using the round brush to actually style the hair.
Loved the video! One Love 💕
You make it look so easy.

Thank you, you helped me sooo much 😄
Very nice explaining i like it👌
Thank you for the gems!!
I've noticed that most salons a lot of stylus don't want to do natural hair when they blow dry it it takes foreverand then I noticed that a lot of youtubers with say how their hair came out damaged and uneven
Thank you for the little tricks that you gave me to try ♥️
It's true. In most cases they are trying to have type 4 hair behave in a way its not supposed to. Type 4 hair doesn't lay flat as it naturally has a lot of volume. In order to force it to lay flat it requires a high heat setting and multiple passes. Even worse if the client has low porosity hair. It's going to take even longer to dry and require more passes.
Plus a lot of the time the hair isn't protected with a heat damage reducing product. Blow outs in a general sense isn't good for type 4 hair.
@@sw33tnycandy yes exactly

What a pleasant and handsome man. 🤩 in love! Thank you for the great video. I do my hair on my own and just purchased a parlux but I’m always looking for new tops. Plus I cannot make it straight with a hairdryer yet, curly, wavy and voluminous yes 🙄

TYY Im a cosmetology student and your videos are so useful
My pleasure! Thanks so much for watching!
Not gunna lie as per your recommendation in many videos I tried something from Giovanni. I'm quite pleased with the items they offer and my bf whose curl pattern is similar to yours also liked the company.
Ooo hopefully this will improve my blow drying technique! I normally just wash and leave to air dry coz I'm slightly curly but at my age I need to start making more of an effort lol
Thank you
Perfectly discribed ☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️
Yes! Notification Gang 😊! Good Morning!
YASSSS!! Good morning boo!!
Tq you so much bro
Lord, I need a new blow dryer ( my Paul Mitchell one is 12 yrs old) & some round brushes... You make me actually want to do hair again. ❤️😁
I’m in cosmetology school now an have been struggling the past few weeks with frizz control when doing round brush. Do you have any recommendations for controlling it? The video was the most informative one I have seen so far as well. Thank you
very nice video.. i would like to ask if we could use hair spray in the end or it wil get stuck?
Great tutorial! I was wondering what kind of product you would recommend for coarse and dry hair? I checked out your Amazon recommended items but wasn't sure which would be best for coarse and dry hair.
Love your videos. What are some good products to use for breakage?
