I don’t have experience with the Shapeoko CNC Machine or the Xcarve CNC, but I do know that the Onefinity CNC machine is awesome!

Thanks for watching!
I just have to say, I appreciate your honesty in showing mistakes during this series. It is important to make mistakes as we all learn and improve from them.
You aren’t disappointing anyone with all these cool projects!
This one be great to make and play with my grandson
I think so too! Thanks for the comment!
This is the best one so far. Im really enjoying this series.
Thanks so much!
i liked when you used the nail gun.
Lots of good ideas in this one!!!
Good looking project Hamilton
You could do mini magnets on the board and pieces and store them on the top as well.
That's a great idea!
Looks fantastic. I do notice a bit of an homage to another design that was itself an homage to another project.
lol yep!! As I was designing it, I had "that" project front and center in my mind! It's coming one of these days. At least I have some pewter now!
I make them in Corian,
the walnut/ Oak version is beautiful
Oh nice! Do you mind sharing the bits you've used as well as your feeds and speeds. I've been wanting to try out corian or soapstone, but just don't know where to start!
You, sir, made paste wax… When the ratio of beeswax to mineral oil is such that you are able to scoop/shave it like you did… that is paste wax. Great for all your metal surfaces in the shop… table saw, planer etc. And yes, still good for rubbing into cutting boards.
And you can use all sorts of waxes this waxes for paste wax this way.
But I do like the idea of a liquid one to dip wood ware in!
Lol, yeah after a few days away from it I think I'm going to melt it down a 3rd time and double the mineral oil!!
Great project idea! Do you think your wood butter recipe will work okay for a natural coaster finish, as opposed to varnish? Obviously varnish is superior. , but is the wood butter at least decent for a natural feeling alternative?
Eh, I'd only really use it on very flat stuff. The wax can bunch up easily in grooves and tight corners. It all really just depends ont he project
I'm ready to play some games.
