WHO DOES THIS!? Koenigsegg JESKO ABSOLUT in the Snow

- A snow dump won't stop the crazy supercars, and we've heard there are some Koenigseggs about! We're in St Moritz with my AMG GT Black Series and hearing word that both a Jesko and CCXR Special Edition are somewhere to be found, the challenge is on to track them down!
Having ventured over to Switzerland for The ICE, a huge amount of snow falling put a stop to the main event due to the weight of it on the frozen lake causing a safety concern. However. that makes for a perfect opportunity to put my winter tyres to the test, and see how the Solarbeam GT Black Series performs on the white stuff.
First up, we manage to spot the CCXR Special Edition from Esser in Germany, parked on display for the day and certainly looking very, very out of place in this kind of weather. The CCXR Special Edition is one of only two made, with a full carbon body, towards the end of the CC series production before the introduction of the Agera models.
As we head around town for some car spotting in the snow, there are plenty of Porsches and G Wagons, but throwing into the mix the likes of a 296 GTB with a ski box! With The ICE not taking place, the show cars are also parked up in a garage where it would be rude not to go over to see the classics and the likes of the Pagani Utopia and Zonda. From a 275P, C-Type, Bulldog, 250 Cal Spyder, DB4 GT Zagato and so much, it's a room with hundreds of millions of cars on display.
However, after hearing that a Koenigsegg Jesko is about, it is of course the mission to find it, and thankfully as the day is drawing to a close we manage to spot it just when we least expected it. Having been parked outside for a few hours, and therefore well and truly camouflaged, the Jesko Absolut from Carage is looking epic, even if we can only see parts of it in the snow.
To wrap up the day, the Marc Philipp Gemballa Marsien is in town! As days go, when the event doesn't take place, it still turns out to be a lot of fun in St Moritz.

I dont think you should drive the jesko in snow. It will still get attacked by salt and little rocks. Its such a piece of art. Seeing it get damage to its paint and carbon fiber like that hurts. Why not drive in nice sunny weather?

Driving an AMG GT Black Series on the snow is one thing. Driving a Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut is a whole another level. Really enjoyed the video Shmee.

Great vid, Shmee. I grew up and learned to drive in the State of Maine, USA, easily one of the heaviest snowfall states in the US. It was simple for us because we knew no different conditions. I am pleased to live in South Florida now and don't miss slippery streets.

A 850hp AMG BS is ridiculous in this weather.…and I love it. Cars are meant to be driven. And I’m glad Tim drives his. Even the egg out in the snow = good. There’s no reason any car, regardless of price, should be babysitted and not be driven in the snow.

Hope to see a Koenigsegg one day!! Nice to see the Aston Martin Bulldog! Saw it at the British Motor Museum at Gaydon in October last year. Hope tje rear bumper has been repaired since though. I think it was heat damage from the exhaust or something hit it when i saw it.
This has memories of me driving my my mustang in many winters in snow storms, hills etc. White knuckle driving for sure and more than a few times off road I in the median and being pushed, watched the rear end do what it wants . All with all season tires. Never go to try dedicated wi her tires . Not sure that would have helped.

Its built in Sweden, we have snow at the end and begining of every year. It can handle it. The CC8S even had a snow driving mode.
People though I was crazy to drive my ND Miata in Minnesota winters. Here you are, driving a $100,000 car in pretty deep snow. Big props to you always out there driving your cars in all kinds of conditions

Switzerland county where you get large speeding fine immediately when you go 1km/h over speed limit but then people stop in middle of the road to take pictures when there is bit of snow.

Ooh, that Porsche Marsien looks cool. Just like a modern version of the 959. Gemballa? Must be related to Uwe Gemballa who designed all those widebodies in the 80's.

Memories…of 1992 the Schweizerhof and of later visits but then I was in a Hertz Corsa 1.2 or a Fiesta 1.25…..not so exotic but at least I was there!!! I’m pleased there’s snow even if a bit wet and soggy…in 1992 it was like white sand swirling in the freezing air.🙂🙂🙂🙂🥶🥶🥶🥶

You need an must get the new black series 4wd so you can compare the two in the snow
little winter tip ontop of your snow tires shmee , you could also put some sand bags or something of simualr weight in the trunk to then put weigth over the rear tires to gain even more traction, so I grew up in Vancouver canada even though we met in oronto and my parents live 4200 verticale feet up a mountai nwere they just got 6 feet of frsh powder and they do that exact echnique to give more traction to their vehciles, also during the summer if you would like to drive some of the most amazing driving roads on planet earth they would love to have you, you could stay in their log cabin were they live 24/7 and be in the middle of some of the greatest unkown driving roads anywhere ever plus home cooked food including real tialian pasta as my step dad is sicilian
