14 buckets in a little over 3 hours😳😳😳 your not human… (I only say that because my old man back (from being in an vehicle accident ((not my fault)) left me without a disc at L1 and 3 bulged above it) won’t let me do more than 8 in a day… of course you have youth on your side I think I’ve got 20 years on you. REALLY wish I’d have found the prospecting hobby when I was much younger. Great looking gold and the size was a nice change I’m really surprised you didn’t get more specimens than you did.. nice sapphire and an excellent video well done and thanks for sharing see you on the next one 👍🏼👊🏼

another awesome vid gus love watching your vid has helped my alot with my mental health and has just got me in to prospecting my self recently and have found a pashion for it like nothing else has for me before so far have sound some realy cool old raclis old buttons and hand made nails as well as my fisrt gold recently i have found .5 grams super stocked i was proscpeting at hill end nsw all so just payed for one of your new pans cant Waite to ue it
Rubberised gloves. Thick industrial type Rubberised gloves. The ones that looked like and have been dipped in a rubbery silicon type compound. Will help stop the gorse penetating as deep into your fingers.

I have the 888. I brought it during covid with all these hopes and dreams, I spent alot of time in my local river the holds not one speck but I did learn how to set it up nicely.
I have had one real test run and suprised myself. Testing was in a flogged out spot just after Easter. Being the noob gold prospecter I am I am willing to drive near 2hrs each way just to find 50c worth of good just to say I have a few speck 😂

I know it’s been mentioned before but gardening gloves that have a knitted back and cuffs with a rubber fingers and hand might be a big help. You could leave them by the sluice

Per unit of work is something I try to tell people about the gold cube. Peeps want to take that out to prospect, but don't want to think they have to not only pack the cube (not small or light), batteries and pumps in, but also have to lift every shovel up to the top of the cube, like an extra 3' up + how far you have to transport the material to where you have the cube set up EVERY SHOVEL. I don't know aobut you, but I prefer to just move material into a sluice rather than lift each shovel 3 times. And recovery is no better. Ok for cleanup I guess, but meh for the cost and inefficiency.

I developed a unique pair of trousers with a combination padlock system in a secret inside pocket, so you can carry a bar or two of gold around in case you need to spend it without relying on the counterfeit fiat system your entire lives.

Watching gold panning videos I have had a rethink of my expectations. I was expecting that the smaller pieces would be about the size of your largest pieces. Makes me wonder how much gold I left behind?

If you can only use hand powered tools, then a dredge powered by compressed air, which you compressed at home, in your own time, by hand, could be a really useful, legal, tool. I've used a petrol-powered venturi-based dredge built by Keene years ago, and I can't see why compressed air couldn't power a dredge, that is manually compressed, of course. You can't use powered machinery, of course.
Also, have a couple of Dares on me mate, or, get some band-aids for those Gorse Bush wounds😂👍
