John is right About Action Van Suspension vs WTD They both have great suspension Lifte kit's About a year ago I had bought my 1989 250 190 class B Ford Falcon Camper Van BrickNose! I've seen videos on Jeremy's platform WTD I seen a few of his old brickNose that looked just like mine That he was working on For customers So I was all about WTD!!! I didn't know nothing about Action Van suspension. So I drove out to San Diego where he was located to get an estimate. He quoted me 10000 plus because he wanted to do all the extra stuff Since mine was 1989 he wanted to update all the wheel bearings and bushes pushing everything on Me which I didn't want he said he wouldn't do it without it It wasn't safe so I was like right now I've gotta save up 10000. ... So when you look up lifted Van who pops up is JohndrivesAnything I checked out one of his videos and it was on Action Van Suspension and that's how I found out I didn't even talk to John at that time On his platform so I called Action Van suspension and they Quoted Me 4000 . And I believe it was Larry I talked to he said he was the owner really nice guy and very smart I talked to him about the (Bent I beam Lift kit ) and he said that we don't do that here and it's not safe. We do the drop down bracket. So all together with installation is $4000 I've learned so much about lifted vans through John's Platform @JohndrivesAnything

I cannot wait to see your van lifted man! Bobzilla13 has a sick bricknose 4x4. It's going to be cool to see a variety of lifted vans at the meet with different kits.
I earn every penny I make picking up boxes and work 60+ hours or more when it's available. I know there are a lot of people like me where every penny matters and a couple thousand dollars may determine if you can get a lift or not and that's why I been making so many videos about this topic lately. I been getting a new person every week telling me that they want to get their van lifted now and thanks for the heads up on lift kits available for these vans.
I'm glad you are hyped up about your van and excited about getting it lifted.

Ive been working on my G30 4x4 van all day, got the old transfer case out. Dropped it off at my local shop to see if it’s rebuildable. The van was my grandfathers, he bought it in 1982. I helped him put in a 454 out of a 1990 3500 dually back in 95 when the old 400 blew up. Grandpa died in February and the van went to me. I’m excited to get it running again. 👍💪

I'm going to do a video why I didn't go 4x4. My dream for the last 10 years was to have a nice lifted van that can make it out to the middle of nowhere and tow a Suzuki Samurai/Suzuki Sidekick/Geo Tracker with me. Sleep in my van and wake up to off roading.
I'm going to replace my radiator/hoses and Water pump for preventative maintanence and once I get re-geared I'm going to start towing my Tracker out to the desert at the beginning of next year.

The comments section is always fun! Thanks for the great video JON. Let make sure we are comparing kits and products properly, The entry level kit from AV is $2089 and would be more compared to the Ocotillo Cruiser kit by WTD @ $2300 which is a difference of $211. But the WTD kit is going to come with fox shocks which is a $289 upgrade on AV site, putting their kit at $2378 making it MORE EXPENSIVE then the WTD kit? You still have the core charge that sucks but we will WAIVE the core charge for 5 of your followers who tell us that they are sent from your channel. Lets us know if we can help answer any other question as we are happy to help. WTD

Good God John get some fresh content! I can’t handle these vids any longer…same content EVERY time!
You and Sebastian miss a lot of points comparing the 2 brands. You are not comparing apples to apples between the kits. When I go to 33’s or 35’s next, I’ll prefer to have the tires stay out of the rear fenders. WTD moves the front wheel forward to prevent this. I have had 3-4 F250’s and other makes with Bilsteins and you cannot compare them to Fox or King since they are custom valved to the vans. Also, you may not jump your van, but I have used up all of the front travel on my WTD WITHOUT “jumping” it. So what if I need to have the shocks rebuilt every few years…Don’t compare lifted van handling to sports cars!
The owner of Camburg has been in desert racing for decades, so he has the proof to say drop brackets are not the preferred way to correct camber on beams. It has to do with the roll center of the suspension, which is felt in everyday driving.
Beams have been bent for decades. That is how they aligned vehicles with I-beams before there were ball joints (king pins until 1991 in vans) in them to accept upper adjustable cams to correct alignment.
He has sold thousands of kits, and there are thousands of vans without front sway bars on them with this kits, and they still handle 100 times better than a stock van. Anything with modified, raised suspension, will handle differently during evasive maneuvers.
John, you should get rid of your WTD suspension if you hate Jeremy so much. I don’t care for him either, but REALLY stop the broken record!!! I am out…

@adventure_ready and I will always take my friends criticisms/advice into consideration. I know I have been rehashing this topic a lot lately. I actually had no intention of rehashing this topic this many times but I been getting so many messages in the last month about this topic and thankyous for the heads up on lift kit options because they want a lifted Econoline but WTD is too expensive.
I even made sure in this video to give WTD and AV their props and say none of their kits as far as I know has had reports of catastrophic failure. Even though I'm not a fan of Weldtec the company I do want people who are inspired by them to spend their money on their kit if the budget allows. WTD has employees some people do enjoy their content and they aren't asking for donations so a great thank you to them is buying their kit.
For every 3 people I annoy rehashing this topic 28 appreciate it. There are new subscribers who are seeing this topic for the first time through this video. It's impossible to please every one. On 1 hand I tell me self man I talked about this so many times. On the other hand people are messaging telling me thank you and ask more questions.
I will try not to rehash this topic so many times. I'm just doing my best in life man in work and my channel. Building up the funds for my rear locker and when that's in I can do some fresh content.
When I start uploading Fiat Videos again I hope to see you comment on them and thumb them up because no one likes the Fiat.
