My wife and I did a 26 day cruise the summer of 2023 on the Silver Shadow. By the time we were done we were so in love with the members of the crew that we shed tears when we said Good-by. When we sat down at our table they already knew our preferences and would set the table just the way we liked. One young man at the grill showed us the best way to grill things. When we saw him in other restaurants he would come over to visit with us briefly. Our room steward was rather quiet but very efficient. Our butler was just the opposite, very, very outgoing. He would often stick his head in to inquire whether we needed anything. We are looking forward to another cruise this fall on Silver Shadow.

Nice video, I’m 63 and tired of mainstream cruising, Likely for the same reasons you may be. I am very much looking forward to our adventure aboard Silversea Cruises , January 2025. By the way, that ship you were on hold 596 passengers not 350. Regardless it’s the same concept small and intimate experience. I don’t like being nickel and dime, I’m looking forward to all inclusive plus Butler service and not having to crack my wallet once. All the features you describe I’m aware of, I am disappointed that aren’t more plugs. I agree with you about port access on smaller ships. When I was on the once called Pacific princess, it only held 600 passengers. During that Baltic cruise to Russia and Sweden, Denmark, Norway, we were able to get up close in Port within walking distance to downtown while the bigger ships had to park far away. Completely agree a smaller experience is the only way to go. I am willing to pay more not to have these mega ships.

Hi my wife and I were on it in August 23 and on it's Sister ship the previous year and we have to agree entirely with what you said. Though we would add that you can meet anyone in the bar and not get a massive bar bill because of all inclusive fare,
