I totally agree with your choice of melodies. Seems like you really appreciate Avicii because it’s not only famous songs of him here but also some that are kind of “what real fans know”. I myself truly keen on his music and I am for sure thankful to what you have done. You are the one who keeps Tim alive because you are keeping his music “alive”

Great work! you have such an amazing ability my friend. I really love how Avicii makes use of the whole keyboard, from the lowest octaves to the highest. Makes the melodies sound truly epic. I was composing melodies mostly in the C3,C2 octaves but learned from this video that it sounds better to include more notes in the C4 and C1 octaves ranges as well. Thanks again for making this.

Awesome! 👌 Does anybody know the theory behind these melodies? How did he design them? I really cant figure it out
I guess he started by making a basic chord progression in a certain scale. Then you take the notes of the chords you're using to build a melody on top + add a bass line & make sure your always using a rythm in the background whilst playing, so the melody and chord fit the rythm. Lastly but most important, use the pentatonic scale for making the melody. For Major scales these are the 1st, 2nd, 3d, 5th and 6th note of the scale for minor these are 1,3,4,5,7th note. If you were to analyse his melodies you'd find he almost always uses pentatonic notes for his melodies, his songs are in minor and he complements the melodies with harmonies.
