- Olivia Dunne is TikTok’s million-dollar tumbler. The all-American gymnast at Louisiana State University is the world’s most-followed college athlete. The New Jersey native has turned her 12 million followers into licensing gold thanks to deals with Motorola, AI assistant Caktus and clothing brands American Eagle and Vuori. “My audience can detect if something isn’t authentic,” Dunne tells Forbes. “My core values have to align with a brand.”Meanwhile her Livvy fund raises money for fellow female NCAA athletes from both fans and brands.

looks… people click FOLLOW in a heartbeat. some are interested in her hard work, but probably most males are not. she seems awesome. but i have very complicated feelings about this as it seems she’s popular as a sexual object FIRST.

I would say a bit of all it. Her looks are a draw, but there are plenty of pretty women on social media. She obviously works hard to be a college level gymnast. She has an engaging personality. She is a high performing gymnast. She knows how to market herself through social media. I think she's one of those situations where all the parts came together to make for a greater whole. She's taken the opportunity and ran with it. If being pretty were the only criteria for Livvy Dunne's level of success, there would be a ton of wealthy women. You gotta have something more than looks to grow that big.
