Satan blinds people to seek after sensations, you can’t get true happiness or true pleasure out of it - that only comes from God. They do it for pleasure, but all they are gonna get from it is pain.
I have a lot of trouble with both of these things. My biggest struggle is not feeling utterly ashamed immediately afterward. I have faith it will get better. I just have to seek God relentlessly.

If you have to ask why stop sinning you don't understand the Gospel or what it means to be a Christian. You need to check your salvation and make sure you're in the Faith.

Whether feeling guilty or getting convicted or not, or just pleasure and no bad lash while and after sinning, we have to turn away from it as God hates it. We therefore should obey His words, and live accordingly before it is too late or you are totally consumed by it. That is not His will that we continue to sin against Him and indulge in our own pleasure. If we are sincere and determined, we will be set free.
there can be some very deep consequences for sinning. While we might repent and get forgiven, the results of living a life not in accordance with the Lord can still come along and whoop your arse. Trust me I know this all too well. Its not worth it. There is the danger that we will 'sort it all out with God' at some later stage in life..because living in sinful habits is sooo much fun! Now I dont know much about the question of IF someone can lose thier salvation, but actively sinning and having little regard is a terrible game to be playing. God can hand you over to reap the results. Christ talked about these things in agricultural terms, pruning and cutting off....wheat and weeds growing together etc etc. We arent perfect, and we do all kinds of stuff we wont even be aware of...sin is sin. I do reckon on varing degrees of it though, Its about avoiding things we know to be wrong...not to kill the fun but, rather, to save us a lot of heartache.
Sin, is like burning a tree, u burn it - its warm and feels good for a while looks pretty etc, u can huddle around the flame momentarily, then the tree turns black and garbled and dies. All sin is lust, lust for power,pleasure, greed all the other sins etc stem from this one -lust in the minds over-desiring. And god is love, thus lust is the fast-burning/abuse of love. There is only love and god is all there is. This is why it feels good momentarily when we use the love for sensory pleasure, but then we get in the pattern and move from one lust to the next and chain lust our lives, instead of chain-loving we burn away our presence of god becoming less than & greater than in an ever perpetual cycle where we don't enter heaven. This is why they say crucify the flesh. But God designed it this way so that we could rise above this fleshy prison, and then enter heaven and be aware of this so that we become 1 with & don't abuse his precious love.

To be honest I can relate to you 100 percent I struggle to win against sin since I cherish my sin so much but I know from my past that God can break every chain of addiction so countinue praying and seeking God.The best remedy I remember is fasting from your addictions and triggers try doing it for only a week then after going through a week,try doing it for 2 more weeks until you don't even want to sin anymore because you realize that you don't really need sin that much what you actually need is Christ.Again I'm still struggling with my daydreaming addiction for a long time so please pray for me too. I'm just sharing my advice on how by the grace and power of God alone I'm freed from certain addictions I have in the past. I'll pray for you to trust in the Lord with all your heart to preserve and grow self discipline.Countinue fighting and God bless.
You have to have more fear of the Lord. We should address God with reverence and fear, and also it is necessary to show FRUITS of repentance, also we should do practical actions that allign to our desire to change our lifes and our repentance. Also something that helps is to fast and pray to be delivered from the specific sin.
10:00 After one realizes that they are saved... So what now? This is what now. We are commanded to be transformed in the mind and not to be conforming to the world. Why? So that we understand God, fear Him, and learn and realize the importance of fleeing sin, hating evil, and understanding that sinful indulgence is only pleasure of the moment. As we understand God and his precepts, we see world as it truly is, we see sin and the momentary pleasures as what it does, and we realize why we need the bible, and why we need to be saved, and why we are 'broken', and why we need to follow in David's footsteps.
Malice, mockery--many get pleasurable feelings from doing these things. How to stop this, and what to do instead? I don't find much anywhere about these ways of attitudes, thinking, and speaking.
What about the evil we see in our leaders in America that encourages sin can we pray for their destruction like David in the psalms I think we should God gave us the psalms as well as the new covenant and David cried out to God all through them for the enemies destruction and I do too
You don't have even a slight understanding of the new covenant, or you do, but choose to act ignorant to fit and promote your view of how contradictory the bible is.
Correction, if we know Jesus, we aren't corrupt, we have a new nature that loves holiness, and has new desires to please God, it's incorrect to say we are sinners, rather we are saints, because we have a new identity in Christ, we do still sin, but it shouldn't be an ongoing practice, if this young man doesn't feel any conviction for sinful choices, he needs to evaluate his Christian life and he also needs to be accountable for his behavior, sin thrives in darkness, that's why we have to be honest enough to bring sin out of our lives, and repent and ask Jesus to replace our wicked passions with the fruit of the Spirit, and desire what God would have us do.

Hatred for false ways (fornication, drunkenness, pornography, etc) comes through an UNDERSTANDING of HIS precepts 😌 I loved that part...

Please make yourself accountable to a group of mature believers! We aren’t meant to face this life alone. I pray God brings you to victory in this.
