Introducing a brand new label from San Sebastian ( Basque Country ) run by Diego Bello, co-founder of Dreadrive muzik prod label. Hope & Faith´s philosophy is to re-create the sound and vibe of reggae in de first half of the 70´s.
Its first release, “Have you seen revolution”, is a reworking of an obscure tune originally made by Los Amis ( What have you seen? 1970, Pax records ), a holy grail for fans of garage rock. This hard-hitting adaptation features a soulful, “sufferer” style vocal from one of Spain´s most established artists, Payoh Soul Rebel, over a riddim made to measure by internationally established London-based producer/musician Inyaki Yarritu ( founderof BDF - Basque Dub Foundation ) and mixed by Jaime Zugasti, who gives this reggae translation the early seventies analogue treatment.
