That was bad!! I can't belive she let you go home like that without offering to fix it or give you your money back. Try to get someone else to fix it or cut it off and start all over again, and don't feel bad about it. We have ALL been there!! I once walked out of a salon after getting a perm and there were two older ladies who were literally laughing at me. I was almost in tears.

I am 60 and I have never colored my hair, so I don't know many options, but could you wear headwraps so only the top shows to get you through the weekend??? Just thoughts! Luv your content and rooting for you (no pun intended).

Y’all it’s OKAY to tell a stylist if you don’t like it. I once asked for chestnut brown (with pics) and it came out orange I let her know…absolutely not. She had to spend her own money to go get another color because I brought only the amount of cash she told me to.
Listen! The way you was recording this process made me think everything was going well. But I should’ve known something was off when she said the following
1. Wash your hair before you come
2. blow dried your hair before adding a chemical
3. The bleach was left on too long which may have caused it to go too far

I have had this happen to me and what I have learned is no matter if the person has their license to do hair doesn’t mean they should. People will literally tell you they can do your hair just for the money and then care less about your hair.

So after watching yeah she either needed to go teeny tiny shadow root or just do the very tips like a centimeter. Did she bleach your hair while stretched? Also, yes, it didn’t look like it was toned at all. The good thing is with bleach you can always color it black again until it grows out 😢
Why didn’t she just pull your hair through a cap and streak it? It would’ve gave you that affect you had previously maybe. Did you tell her before you left that she didn’t care for the way it turned out?

I feel your pain. Right before Christmas a hair stylist turned my hair green, The other stylist tried putting some red to tone down the green. I ended up looking like a Christmas 🎄 for Christmas. I went back and she fixed it. A hat, hood, and scarf was my best friend until the new year. You can get through this. You are beautiful no matter what color your hair is.

I think you should leave the very ends blonde and add a brown in between so that it looks ombre. It only looks a bit off because it goes from black straight to super blonde because she did too much of it blonde. Hope it turns out ok.

The way she distributed the color seemed very random and I noticed how light it was getting and how too close to the root she placed the color. You were getting your coffee, chillin on your phone, and all the while, Im here thinking, IT'S TIME TO WASH IT OUTTTTT!!!! It seems like from the shower clip, you were working it out.
