How do you turn on the backlight for the btwn 500 because it doesn't turn on automatically at night

I am returning my unit.
I do not find it to be a good product.
It is easy to set up, but does not always work.
Mine works great. Only thing that annoys me is that the battery drains really fast. After I am done with my trip, I would need to take the battery out of both the transmitter and receiver. Else.... 3 weeks of storage and the battery goes flat.
Can I change the battery in the main unit? There is no mention in the manual.
Yes, you can change the battery on both the transmitter and receiver.

I do not know why my keeps turning off by self and does not read the kilometers i did all you say but still is not getting set
Most likely the battery on the transmitter needs to be changed. If the unit does not receive a signal for an extended time, it will turn itself off.
I also just bought it from the Decathlon in Bagatelle MRU and it turned itself off all the time and it is saying No Pairing, do you think it also would be solved by changing the transmitter battery? 😁
@@leonbenS try to pair it again. If that does not solve it, changing the battery one both the transmitter and the main unit might help. If that does not help, you might want to return it as faulty.
Change the batt to C2023 or C2025 the current 2032 its actually defect and a mistake from manufacturer..
Im done setting everything up but it doesnt track my speed
check if your transmitter has battery. Else pair it again.
How do you link this with strava?
Edit: I just found out I can't link it with Strava. Still, it is a good purchase.
Hey muy friend! Hi from Colombia i buy the Same and i used for 200km but comparing the data from the bc500 and Strava in my cellphone i see that the bc500 only has regristred 182km but i do 200km!!! How its working yours? Also, in the middle of the ride stop giving the speed, the bc500 starts blinking like when is it not pair
I already hace a lot of cyclo computers y know How they work and How to configure those, but i think is broken
@@juanjaramillo1540 mine seems to be accurate. Try changing your battery and also reset and set your tyre size again. Strava might be a little off since it relies on your phones GPS but it should not be 18km off on a 200km ride (that's like a 9% deviation)
