How are YOU liking Star Rail?
I adore it! It's more of an easygoing gameplay. It's less stressful than Genshin but I still prefer Genshin. HSR is really good on my laptop that is like, 10 years old.

I love that both mc have similar types of voices and attacks, but still seem to have their own unique way of doing things, such as the ults. Female mc is calm and somewhat something (can’t thing of the term, but uniform or something). Meanwhile, the male mc seems more reckless or hostile. He also seems to have more animation in the ult (goes through a whole powering up thing), while the female mc just lowers the bat to their side, already strengthened.
Yes, I could have probably shortened this comment, but I just found it interesting. Also, I found it interesting (can’t think of a better word) that Dan Heng is there when female mc wakes up, while March is there when male mc wakes up. After the thing, which I’m not specifying due to potential spoilers (don’t want to spoil people who cannot, or choose not to play, but want to experience the game). Anyway, loving this game so far.
I think the term youre looking for is elegant

Star rail has quickly became my favorite mobile game I’ve ever played. As someone who misses the older style final fantasy games this game really hits the spot for me
I honestly feel the same, definitely the most fun Ive had in a mobile game in a while

Persona mixed with Genshin and Sci-fi. It's my dream game. Plus, I love the use of the train symbolism of the astral express. Trains can symbolize new beginnings, a journey, and Fate and I like how the express is used to show the start of this great and new adventure for the trailblazers. As well, as possibly hinting at a future predetermined fate that awaits us.
Yeah that train has lots of meaning from previous tittles of Honkai

I'm enjoying it. It's been like a Borderlands game in how fun the story and characters feel, but with gacha.
The moment when Kafka play her invisible violin, the bgm ( background music ) brings me peace and harmony😊
If you play honkai/watch "Graduation Trip", then you are guaranteed to tear up during the opening

Honkai Star Rail is one of my 2nd bestest game ever!! The space fantasy, the environment, meeting new characters, doing missions and tasks and everyt, pulling session!! That make me on cloud nine

I got Welt as my first 5-star and I love him. He does a lot of damage, immobilizes enemies, and helps Dan Heng do more damage. X3 XD
Star rail is a great game. I pulled Bailou and Selle before TR 22 and now I'm unkillable. I put them with Tinyun and Trailblazer. Or I swap Trailblazer/Seele with March 7th for bosses with stronger attacks. Seele is only level 30 and already does over 3k with her ultimate. With no buffs
I love this game so much, I'm lowk obsessed and its actually making me consider dropping Genshin for now. I'm having so much more fun as an f2p in this game
Also I like the Male MC more, and its kinda surprising that more people have been liking the femC. Something about the Male MC's agressive demeanor and he just radiates charisma and I like it a lot
I wouldn’t “drop” Genshin right now, games have something called the honeymoon phase where for the first few days or weeks you play them you can’t put them down to save your life but you’ll inevitably have days where you know you need to do it but you can’t bring yourself to
Also 100% agree about the MC, it certainly helps that he’s a tall male character that suits his outfit better than the Female MC does
Fr. Male MC has that aggressive side on him, while female MC is more like soft, elegant way of fighting the enemies. But I did took a change and chose FMC coz on all open world mmorpg games I've played that had to choose either male or female usually I choose male. But I'm not regretting chose FMC on HSR coz her fight animation is pretty great, too.

Before it released I said to my friends that I would never play this bc it's turn based but now im so hooked onto it😂 been playing since release and the story is interesting! And sometimes I feel like the npcs/interactions are more relatable than genshin, which at times I feel so out of place during conversations with npcs... But I think I'm here for the story and genshin for the scenery and combats (It's my first turn based experience too! Got Clara on discounted pull and lost 50/50 to Himeko, still pulling for Seele tho😢)

Worth noting for people curious about Seele- she gets extra turns when she kills an enemy, but not on one of those extra turns.
So she can Kill -> Reset -> Ult -> Reset and kill up to 4 enemies in a turn. Later on she gets some action advancement tech that might let her take another natural turn after that, too. Definitely super strong and fun.

I also just started it after my exams so one thing i noticed is that are we in a story book or like how herta has a stimulated universe in it so does it makes the one in which we wake up also a story one
Silverwold talking about script ,the book hertas script damaged and most important when the character themselves says that *am i dragged in some sort of sci fi movie or smthn* it is pretty interesting tho
HSR hooked me when i least expected it. i love that it’s so easy to pick up on mobile and yeah the story could be better but it’s just getting started.

To be honest, there is a bit more to be desired. It's a good game for starters, but I wish there was a little more strategy for combat and team building that other turn-based games have. Also, I hope that there will be an eventual PvP and/or Co-op mode cuz it would bring in another element to combat that is kind of lacking at the moment
Y'know, probably a few dozen researchers either died or were severely injured/traumatized from the attack on Herta's space station and it was straight up Kafka and Silver wolf's fault..
But I think I can speak for all of them when I say they'd be completely content with Kafka playing air violin while they suffered and died. Died for a very worthy cause indeed 😌

So apparently Kafka is voiced by Cheryl Texiera but holy moly does she sound just like Elizabeth Maxwell who voices Rosaria in Genshin that I feel like you could swap the voices and nothing changes!!! Amazing VA work all around!!!

seele talent does not stack, the extra attack can not give an other extra. the reason why he got one extra was that the round ended and new one begun. also u cant go into your ult when u are in your extra attack, it executes after the extra attack

I got Gepard and I'm so FREAKING HAPPY CAUSE I wanted to get him and I still can't believe I actually got him!! And I got Seele early too! :D with a Eidolon 6 Asta xddd
Enjoyed it so far took me 160 draws to get seele but overall worth it got welt in the process for losing my 50/50 but damn he is strong for the imprisonment and slowness

Jesus christ doro, the game is out for less than a month and this type of video is already a thing? You never cease to amaze me.
I never really liked turn based combat (especially when it's overloaded with different mechanics that you supposes to keep in your mind somehow)
But so far Honkai deliver so much I don't mind turn based combat. Also it looks really cool.
Although I have a problem with Speed mechanic. It's really convoluted and weird and just math hell.
I’m really liking star rail so far. I’ve been playing on my phone since it isn’t out on PS5 yet. And it’s so much better to play compared to Genshin. Hoyo is definitely looking out for their mobile players with this. I think overall Genshin has some competition for best hoyo game

I noticed that after getting knocked out by Welt, the person who we meet when we wake up depends on the gender, example, If you chose male, you meet March when you woke up, but if you chose female, you meet Dan Heng when you woke up.

Download the app month ago and go straight into the game to see how much in game download it need, after i see it... i gave up on downloading until now
After week of playing am 100% completed current patch... And currently sitting borderline TR40. It's been so addictive, exploration bit simple but it takes time and those hidden 'extras'... Pfff...
Also my current team is lvl50s Seele, Fire mc, Tingyun and Natasha. Seele dishing out 20k crits with help of Tingyun and mc tanking and taunting. Wish I could get Bronya and Bailu at some point to buff Seele more.
Something i need to do is not play it to much and take a break for genshin. Because i might get tired of it to fast. My Trailblazer lvl is 30

I am liking it a lot, its a really fun game. Being a person that plays genshin a lot, it feels very good to play something this refreshing apart from genshin.

I was really hyped for this. Counted down the days until launch and everything.
Then after searching several times for it, I realized that it wasn't going to be released on PS5 until, theoretically, November. Hoyo to my knowledge still hasn't confirmed an actual release date.
Feeling kind of dirty done by (please no hate for that). I have a low end PC that can only run 2D games, and a phone that probably couldn't run the game even if it had the storage (which it does not. Not even if I uninstall literally every app I have), so PS5 is my only option.
Still feeling burnt. I'll be giving it a go whenever it does finally hit the PlayStation store though.
Looks as good as I had hoped, and it's been a while since I got to play a good turn based game outside of the atelier series, so as a gamer from the early nineties, the turn based gameplay is actually quite appealing.

Seele extra turns dont stack. When you defeat your second enemy, your turn is technically over, and when you ult, your new turn begins, so thats why you got an extra from it
That's why she's great when paired with Bronya.
This game is insane I didn't thought I would like it but the more I play the harder it gets to stop playing.

HSR goes much, much easier on your hardware. Both blowers on my laptop run at their lowest with HSR and howl like crazy with Genshin, so I suggest giving HSR a try.

I gotta say, character designs are better (in my opinion) in honkai but the gameplay of genshin is just so much more than fights and storyline, it’s hard to get down to Honkai’s level without feeling underwhelmed by the comparison😅
