    Thanks for the video. Helped me a lot with the conversion of my R9T racer. These small screws on the switches, then one hidden. I would never have found it. Thank you!

    Great video, brother! I was a bit concerned about doing this myself, but after seeing you do it, I feel more confident. Cheers and ride safe!

    Good set of videos, mate. Very useful as I pick up my bike tomorrow and want to do some of this stuff myself. I know you will have thought of this but you really need to get that swingarm powder coated in black.

    Do you recall the size of the Torx screw on the right controller? The screw on the outside to take off the cover.

    Hey Ahmad, was wondering how you got the bar end mirrors on the stock OEM handlebars as well as getting the OEM barends on...did you use an adaptor??

    • @ahmadsammani2704
      @ahmadsammani2704  Před 4 lety +1

      Josh, no adaptor required. I used the OEM mushroom bar ends to lock in the mirrors. The locking is achieved by the push action from the mushrooms + the tightening of the mirrors screws.
      It gets a bit tricky with the throttle bar, because if u tighten too much, the throttle will lock.
      You just have to find the sweet spot were the mirrors are tight and the throttle is free to move back and forth

    Perfect Video. Your bike looks so much better. Did you change the cables for the brake or clutch? Aren't the original ones too long? Regards

    Is it true that when you switch clip ons, the turning radius of your bike is limited since the clip ons would hit the gas tank when you turn to the extreme left/right direction?

    • @ahmadsammani2704
      @ahmadsammani2704  Před 3 lety

      Not necessarily. It depends on your angle set-up.
      If u wanna go for the cafe racer look, then yes, you'll be limited

  • @ttking001
    @ttking001 Před 3 lety

    How high were the risers or what height did you set them at? Also how does it affect your riding position (ergonomics) do you recommend this set up for commuting (60 miles one way)?

    • @ahmadsammani2704
      @ahmadsammani2704  Před 3 lety

      60 miles is a bit too long for this riding position. After 20 miles u'll start feeling back pain. My commute was about 10 miles so it was fine
      Height wise, I've put them pretty low, u can adjust the height up to 5mm lower than the standard handle bars height

  • @marcfinsterbusch9302
    @marcfinsterbusch9302 Před 2 lety +1

    I just blacked out mine and just have the forks left. What are you going to do to black them out?

    • @ahmadsammani2704
      @ahmadsammani2704  Před 2 lety

      The forks are the trickiest part
      You will need to disassemble the gold tubes, anodise them, the assemble them again.
      It's gonna be a very messy job if you're not familiar with forks rebuild.
      I opted for wrapping them, but you'll need to do it with the forks are installed in the triple tree clamp, otherwise, the wrap will get scratched when putting the forks back into the clamp
      Option 3, buy black forks, but they cost a fortune!

    i wanna put clip ons on my rninet pure so bad as well but im worried about the riding position, how uncomfy does it get with the clip ons?

    • @ahmadsammani2704
      @ahmadsammani2704  Před 2 lety

      If you get the adjustable risers, not the bad. I can go 30 to 45 mins without backpain. Longer trips will have their toll

    • @kowalski2334
      @kowalski2334 Před 2 lety +1

      @@ahmadsammani2704 I already installed clip ons and it's really not that bad, 2 hour trips are no problem, although I don't have any back pain just my wrists start to hurt a bit
