장기하와 얼굴들은 2008년 결성 이후 독보적인 색을 지닌 음악을 선보이며 '대한민국 밴드의 미래'라 불린 팀이다. 특히 장기하와 얼굴의 음악이 가진 가장 뚜렷한 특징은 가사와 그 가사를 내뱉는 무드에 있는데, 말과 노래의 경계를 오가는 듯한 운율 그리고 때로는 모호한, 때로는 지나치게 솔직한 가사는 음악을 듣는 재미를 더욱 배가시킨다. 정식 데뷔 10년차, 장기하와 얼굴들은 언제 어떤 곡을 들어도 '장얼'임을 알 수 있는. 철저하게 '장얼스러운' 음악들로 여전히 밴드씬의 한 자리를 굳건히 지키는 국가 대표 밴드로 자리매김했다.
장기하와 얼굴들의 [아임라이브] 공연은 대표곡 중독성 있는 후렴구가 인상적인 '달이 차오른다, 가자'부터 장얼식 사랑 노래 '그렇고 그런 사이', 2016년에 발표한 앨범 [내 사랑에 노련한 사람이 어딨나요]의 타이틀곡 'ㅋ'와 '빠지기는 빠지더라', 수록곡 '그러게 왜 그랬어' 등으로 구성됐다. 장기하와 얼굴들은 10년차 밴드답게 노련한 무대매너로 관객의 눈과 귀를 모두 만족시켰다는 후문이다.

It's very sad that That's just what you think is their last album😭 I've been loving them for years and Idk why but especially in this last months, I listened their songs too much. And I'm really sad rn bcs I was in Korea 2 weeks ago and if I stayed a bit longer I could watch their lives for new album like showcases 😭 it's saddening because this will be last 😭 oh I really hate when beautiful things end
