My brother and cousin live in California. They are moving out. They are terrified on what’s going on.. nobody in their right mind would raise a family there.
I was born and raised in California. I was born in the 80's during it's golden era and it was most definitely beautiful but in the last decade it has gone through a state of disarray and it's policies have diminished the middle class significantly. Besides the homeless, we have many working homeless who can simply not afford the high rents there. I left two years ago and don't plan on coming back any time soon. It was the best decision that I've ever made. Besides, I was able to make way more progress in the East Coast in two years than I ever did in one decade in California.
When Ronald Reagan was the governor of California, it was such a magical place to live. I'm glad I left years ago; I saw the writing on the wall.

The government let's them live there but it's public land. They even create their own trash dump which is a health issue.
The city got a grant and built a 70 unit apartment building to house homeless people. Yet there are 4,000 homeless
in this county. Where that 24 Billion went:
It was given to non-profits who have a history of spending 94% of all funds on "administration costs".
The state government has NO accountability for taxpayer funds, they squander the funds.
This is akin to "robbing the bank" Government is the modern day Billy the Kid! They rob the homeowners, then have
a big poker game and buy up all the whisky and party on till those funds are all gone! Citizens have become complacent!

@@Maryloyt Lived here my entire life, it's abysmal now. Prices are through the roof, taxes are through the roof, regulations are obscene and heavy-handed, homelessness is a massive issue. Had to escort 5 homeless people away from our store in the last week alone because they were asking for money and shouting/cussing at kids who come to our business. It's absolutely a ruin.

Jillian 100 percent correct about homelessness . I volunteered for 7 years in Southern California food pantry. Most people we saw were drug addict individuals or mentally ill people. I saw 2 families who needed help in those years and they got the help and were off the streets in a matter of days!
