Your husband's selections are beautiful!! The mugs you got are perfect for your coffee bar and kitchen! But I lost it when you started talking about your neighbor that got so much joy from your decorating. I remember last year your talking about her. So sorry to hear that she has passed. What a lovely gift you gave her by sharing your love of decorating! The nutcracker soldier is a wonderful momento of her and it is so sweet that your older son desires to display him in his room. I cannot believe how wonderful and jam packed this haul. The amounts of gingerbread is so awesome. Beautiful finds. The baby Jesus painting is so beautiful.
I went to a dollar general & the boxes were unopened on the shelves so I couldn't look at items. Some of the stores don't have enough workers. Can't believe in this day & time people aren't working. How can they live. I worked 47 years starting babysitting then Frisch's as a waitress then working at different office jobs. Yes it was hard to get up every day but I remained steadfast and worked hard. Well, Laura I loved this haul.

Yes I agree on the lack of employees. My Dollar Generals started incorporating the Self-Checkouts for that reason. Also thank you for your sweet words!

Wonderful haul! I love how you were so emotional when you talked about your picture you got of Baby Jesus and your neighbor’s wife that passed away and the cute Nutcracker he gave you. It’s a timeless one. I’m glad you got the gingerbread from the dollar tree plus section. He was the one I was telling you about last year that I got but you said you all did not have a dollar plus section in your area yet. We also got so many pieces alike from Ross, Target, Walmart and Dollar General. I know you do a lot of pillow covers and was glad you got the Gingerbread house pillow. It adds a cute element to the decor. I hope you find a cute gingerbread man and candy cane pillow to also add to the design. They will not take up too much space. Since you don’t buy a lot of pillows. Can’t wait to see your thanksgiving decor and Christmas decor videos. TFS

Dollar General is motivating me to do my mantle/family room in mint, cream, natural and gold-way different than anything I've done before...the rest of the house will be rustic and vintage....so many styles that I like! Thank you! I try my best and edit each of my videos the best way.
I got the Mrs. Clause at Walmart also. It is hard to find her a lot of the time there was one on the shelf with all of the Santa Claus’s. I quickly grabbed her. I was also able to grab the gingerbread measuring cups and the gingerbread measuring spoons. I also got the Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus from TJ Maxx. Also, they had a single Mrs. clause similar and I grabbed it. I love the fact that you love Jesus and I teared up about your neighbor. The way you talk she had to be a wonderful soul. Loved your video.

I live in a small touristy town that a lot of older people move to when they retire so we have alot of elderly neighbors in the community where we live and they all get the biggest kick out of all our decorations. I've been making some decor and girl you made want to go shopping today knowing my stores everything will be gone lol....I know the feeling my neighbor just passed away a couple of weeks ago and I would just sit and talk to her because she was always by herself.
