Hands down for Troy firstly, for accepting Maurie. He knew but he waited for Aubrey to open up and not question her why. How he embraced every part of Aubrey until Rocket was diagnosed. And of course, Aubrey, you're an amazing Mom! Such an inspiring couple ❤️ I cried 🥺

Most of Toni’s guests have stories that opened our eyes on how life can be challenging yet in the end it taught us how to be victorious. This interview is one of those. It’s not the admission of having a child with autism that made the interview heartfelt but the journey that every parent is going through. I felt the pain of the mum blaming herself not knowing how to help her child to be as normal like others. As well as the dad, he showed how a man of the house should show how tough he must be yet in one point he had showed his vulnerability too. This interview is too rare that it transcend to everyone watching not just on the screen but it hits your heart. I literary cried.

I admit, I used to be in-denial sa pagiging Autistic ng anak ko nahihiya kasi ako sa sasabihin ng iba at sa mga panghuhusga ng ibang tao hindi lang sakin pati sa anak ko pero dumating sa punto na natanggap ko yung sitwasyon naming mag-ina..
She's now 10yrs old, grade 5 na sya pasukan..

Hi Aubrey! I went through the same thing with my son, Micah. I caught it quite early too (13 months) and nobody was on my side then. Some even thought I was crazy. It's harder for the mom, really. Just go through all the therapy (OT, Behavioral and Speech) and you will see Rocket progress beautifully. My son was the same happy, active kid and we always believed he's going to be fine. He is 10 y.o. now and mainstreamed in an international school in Vietnam. He is thriving but not free from challenges. He is loved and cherished by most of the people who meet him. God will guide you through your journey. We can never be perfect parents but we can always just do our best. We are blessed with a beautiful, gifted and differently abled child. God chose us to be in charge of that very unique person because He knew we are capable. God bless you both! 🙏

We have a nephew who was diagnosed with ASD when he was 2 years old. He is now 5 and the teacher said he is ready for the traditional school, online and face to face. With the right therapy, patience, understanding and love, Rocket will blossom into a better child, with improved skills and knowledge. With Troy and Aubrey as her parents, one day, we are going to see her with marked improvements and better future. Aubrey and Troy, hold on to each other tighter and keep God in your hearts. ❤️❤️❤️

I just love the emotional support that Troy had. For a mom like Aubrey it is always natural to know every detail of your own child but for Troy it was something. For me, men usually don't remember such details and are less sensitive and less showy when it comes to emotional support. Troy's so different, plus the bonus fact that he's such a manly and handsome family man.

really can relate to you guys. We went through stages of grief when I found out about our child's autism diagnosis. With the help and grace of God, as parents we acted right away. We Sent our son to occupational therapy, speech, and applied at home what we learned from the therapy sessions. I think the key talaga is to never give up, and palakasin pa ang faith in God. About 2 months after we started the therapy, our son began blurting out words and started walking when he was 14 months old. Now he's 10 years old and talking non-stop. Habang lumalaki ang bata new challenges comes but it's ok we are ready for it.

Kasi Ang Dami Po talaga cases ng austism... Ang knowing na may nag o-open up na mga celebrity like this couple it spreads more awareness... Kasi marami Po talaga Hindi alam Ang mga symptoms ng autism Ang tendency Hindi natutukan Ang Bata...
Thanks Toni.... interviews like this and with Ms Candy Pangilinan then the single Mom from PBB,.. malaking ruling Po ito for spreading autism awareness.....

i remember a story my aunt told us, the family, when she found out that my cousin, their only child and daughter, had autism. _parang kay_ aubrey _din yung naging_ reaction _niya. yung tipong, “kasalanan ko ba ‘to, saan ako nagkamali nung_ pregnancy _ko, may hindi ba ‘ko nasunod na_ doctor’s advices”, all those self-blaming questions. and other people in her circle were blaming her too for being “too old” when she got pregnant, for being too workaholic while being pregnant, or not taking extra care of the baby while still inside her womb. _kaya nung_ first years _ng_ cousin _ko,_ my aunt was too hopeless, too immersed _sa lahat ng_ blames _na binabato sa kanya._ it was not until my mum told her to embrace her daughter while it was possible. my cousin was also diagnosed _din kasi_ with down syndrome _kaya_ her doctors said _hindi siya lalagpas ng_ 20 years old. true enough, my cousin died at age 16 but she was well-loved and cared for by the whole family, especially my auntie...
