This video is about Veliko Tarnovo and why it is the most amazing place to retire in Bulgaria. Veliko Tarnovo is a university town with 70000 inhabitants and is located north of the Balkan Mountains.
Lot of tourists visit this city every year and enjoy its old and newer sights.
When I came to Bulgaria in the summer of 2020, I called brokers who were offering junk houses for less than 800 euros in the vicinity of the city. Among them were real palaces. And even today you can find some of the cheapest real estate in the country here. So it's no wonder that around 17,000 Britons have found a new home in the region.

Beautiful place. As far as international airports go, Bucharest is closer than Sofia or Varna.
