Honestly, considering the fact that she didn’t know the rules at all (like, she couldn’t even tell the difference between a Knight and a Rook) and her typical aggressive playstyle, she did surprisingly well! Granted, I seriously facepalmed a few times there, but she definitely exceeded my expectations! Also, Bae made her mother proud. **Sniff**
Actually, it probably was even harder for Pekora since she thougth chess had the same rules as shogi, that's why Pekora mistook the knight for the rook since in shogi the rook is around that position. Hell I even think she mistook the rook for a lance, which can only move forward, since they occupy the same spot in the board. Oh yeah and also there's no queen in shogi so even worse for Pekora who probably didn't understand how to use her properly.

@@MALEMization HoloChess would be awesome, but since most of HoloJP have no idea how to play it they really need to be trained first and i am sure they can handle it pretty well as long the know the basic rule, tho the game itself have to be popularized first among holo community like Tetris back then..

At 1:52, Bae could've castled king side, then eaten the bishop with her queen and it would've been mate. Or simply winning the pawn then taking the Queen, soooo chat was shocked thinking she made a bad move when she actually did the best move.
