Love that guy at the end... "Yeah, whaddevs..."
This is amazing man!
This never gets old!
Coo! I bet the guy making the announcements already has a job lined up to announce Monster Truck Rallies when his tour ends...
Are these civilians being taken out at sea and given demonstrations? đČ I don't think we have anything like that in the UK. We do have air shows, but I've never heard of being taken out at sea on an aircraft carrier. The Wirral Show was pretty great to go to as a kid. The Red Arrows would perform their crazy maneuvers for us (those pilots are amazing!), with so much more to see, learn, and experience. The Harrier pilot would begin their demonstration by doing a close supersonic fly-by, setting off all the alarms of the parked cars, before coming back and showing off the cool capabilities of the aircraft. At one point, the pilot would hover close enough in front of us all so that we could see him wave to us. It's a very unique interaction, and it's always stuck with me since childhood. It's a shame the Wirral Show is no longer active.
Thank you Navy. Semper Fi from an old Marine Sergeant.
Tnank you Marine! Semper Fortis from an old Navy Pilot (Aviator for those who seem touchy about terms)
@@ramosel Sir, what jet did you fly?
@@ramosel "Always Courageous' I think that's correct. BTW I was on Okinawa Aug74-Sep75, at Camp Foster, just south of Kadena AFB and I could see the SR-71 flying around. What a sightđ

@@ramosel Sir, which one did you like flying?
That was amaizing! Thank you for your service, and cheers from Britain! đ
Thanks to you, UK great Allies of the United States
Imagine some pilot take the initiative and make unauthorized supersonic flyby
"It's time to buzz the tower"
Cool!
))))))))))))) So cool!!!
Would be cool to see life below deck sometimes!
Royal Navy used to do those in Gloucester Gladiators lol đ
Senior was not impressed.
Iâm afraid Iâve seen too many, also.
However, if I donât know itâs cominâ, the explosive boom still makes me duck!
Fun video!
Nice! Seeing this made me wonder: can the Super Hornet also do a supersonic flyby at a low altitude or are these now a thing of the past?
Are there non-DOD civilians on the aircraft for a couple of these like for a âsight-seeingâ tour?

Do you edit these on the carrier or when you get home?
More like transonic...
More like sonic the hedgehog. . .
win7ermu7e yeah, but not quite the charisma of Sonic ;)
That first Driver was BOOKIN! It may just appear to be faster because of the lower vantage point but I donât care that was Awesome! Thanks ***edit: the last pass also looked quicker that the middle two. Higher point of view as well. Does the Skipper give them a target ground speed or a speed limit for safety. Flying over the water that low is sketchy at any speed from what I gatherâŠ
