This made me realize just how terrifying a speed runner must be for Bowser. You spend months, maybe years planning the takeover of Peach’s castle. The day finally arrives, and the plan goes off perfectly! It’ll only be a matter of time before the entire Mushroom Kingdom is yours.
The you hear Mario is on his way. You strategically divide your forces throughout the castle, lay out some traps, and wait.
Mario arrives, and immediately starts breaking the laws of physics.
What.
Somehow he knows exactly where to go, totally avoiding your traps and heading straight to where you’ve been hiding.
In less than 10 minutes, this man, seemingly possessed by a god, has undone all of your hard work.

@@bnmc Moat skip wasn't preformed in this video it was lakitu skip at the bridge and besides moat skip is only preformed in SM64DS for 0 Star runs, it doesn't feature in any SM64 runs and I don't think it is even possible in SM64 at all.

Now that i think about it, this whole speed demon saga was planned from the beggening. The first animation (excluding the MH:W ones) was Yoshi's Island, the origin of Mario. Then we got Super Smash Bros, which set the tone of the story and what types if jokes we going to be presented. Later we got Kirbo Super Star, it introduced our protagonist Kirbo and his connection to Jesus. After that we got introduced to our villan Speedrunner Mario in this episode, which was forshadowed both here and in Luigui's Mansion, first by what you said, then the boo tried to bring Mario back to hell along with the speed demon but Luigui did'nt let that happen (Luigui also shows us that he is chistian in that moment just like Kirbo). Simon having his own episode later isn't a coincidence either.
