James sounds so good and he's so into the song it makes it that much better
I feel their live performances have gotten SOOOO much better as of recent
@@kelb89 absolutely
This is pure satisfaction. I headbanged so hard :D
Agree. James is always into the songs but this one he looks like his younger self again.
@@kitarajaba9154 me too
Holy production value, Batman! This was edited really nicely, good job!
Way too much slowmotion
metfan4l you’re everywhere
Right!!
metfan4l No s**t! Excellent
yeah its metallica...
They are playing like there's no tomorrow!!Amazing performance!!!
Ummm ,,its fuckin' Metallica! They always rock!
Yea'.. Amazing As Always! However they play though..I just Love *Metallica* 'Completely' ; )
I feel blessed that Metallica is my favorite band and they are constantly posting videos and rocking out after so many years. No other band does this right now
100% couldnt agree more we are so lucky!
They've performed on every continent on this planet, you're right no other band has done that. That also goes to show, that Metallica is the biggest band on the planet, cause they're the only ones who've been all over the planet lol.
Well said, saw them in Denver 6/7/17. The picture next to my comments is me at the Denver show.
luis campuzano Hell yeah I hear you Metallica is my favorite band too!!!!
they even visit Panamá in central america they are Legends
Whoever edited the video should get a raise \m/
why? because of the slow motion?
@@VideosbySteve Yes but also the video is also color corrected with more cinematic shots, especially that horizontal close up shot of Hetfield singing @ 2:10
@@VideosbySteve Also there is more static camera positions that have a view on a crowd , no cameraman with shaking hands
Greg Fidelman does the audio mix, not sure who does the video, but the slow-mo reminded me of the iconic '91 Moscow performance. James's voice is sounding damn good these days.
That was me and you're welcome
This looks like something from a concert film. Quality editing.
I think they will release a concert soon.
I feel like this may be for a concert film
Considering the editing
I hope they release one soon

3:32 THAT IS ME AND MY DAD!!!!!!!😂😂😂😂
2:30 THOSE MOVES BY JAMES ARE SO FUCKING COOL
Mustache power is strong. Along with handlebar the energy is back. Welcome Back the Metallica I remember and love. Keep that hair growing James \m/
I actually now prefer this than the studio version. It's just such a perfect performance.
live version a lot better. There is nothing to hide :)
James is like wine, when he gets older his voice becomes much more better!
This is the essence of Metallica.
Wow.. listen to this and then to 2009 version.. James almost sounds like back in the 90s
Martynas I agree
I agree, James has been sounding damn good lately
It's the power of the Hetfield mustache!
James actually sounded like a beast in 2009, especially in that show in the old ruins in France.
Metallica is sound first quality
I was there and the entire show was amazing. Screaming the lyrics I always dreamed of screaming at a Metallica concert. Boys are still killing it.
this is quality right here
the editing is superb
james really into this song and they played very very very well
this is why i love this guys
Harvester has always been a favorite of mine. This live version is f'n epic!!!!
It’s sad how underrated this song is....it’s a MONSTER riff🤘🔥
JJ Theguitarist Those who’ve seen it live never under rate it!
Harvester is probably the only Metallica song that I just don't like.
it is not underrated. it is played on every show
Favourite Metallica song
@@petrub27 I think he means it's not as common as sandman
My kid took me to see them on father's day 2017 in Chicago. Didn't think id ever see Metallica in my life time. I was 60 years old. STILL A METAL FAN
You are a blessed man
use me as "every video on this channel should be like this one" button
i like it but I prefer the original. but they should do this sometimes
@@Yes-cm1ph i agree with you
Yea Agree but, I Love different version of 'Sad But True' One.. I Love more than All of them?.. "Don't shoot" ✋👀( Just an example ) ; )
Ah I see you are a man of hard work 😂
You could just like the video though
I am watching this during last 24 hours..
I think it's best Harvester of Sorrow for last 20 years .. and the sound here is much better than Moscow 91'.
They killed it here !! 🤘🤘🤘
CARTHAGO dude!! Every time I hear this song I think of that Moscow 91 concert that video gives me goosebumps! Metallica for life 🤘🤘🤘
@@mebepeeblee The new sound technologies rules .. i was meaning by better sound that you can hear all music details .. Too powerful sounds! And that's great!!
Absolutely you are right. Good detection
Moscow version was just pure filthy raw and heavy that's what made it great and the fact it was in their prime and were playing out their skins
Did he mean the last 24 hours of his life?!
The sound is back!! The sound like Metallica again!
That almost has to be a DVD.
Going on concert of Metallica is one of things I have to do in my lifetime
Shall we just call this the Official Music Video for Harvest of Sorrow? 🤟🤟🤟
They still have that aggression!
How could you dislike this? What's a matter with you people? I can't believe it. Damn haters.
The Metallica MONSTER - bigger and meaner than ever!
I hope this is not the their last flame. Long live the King, no God of metal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lars said they plan on carrying the band on for at least another 20 years
Josh1301 İmpossible to play those songs after 20 years
@@larsulrich26ulrich42 you heard of motorhead? Lemmy was about 15 years older than them and kept going. He only died coz he partied wayy too hard for a normal person.
WTF 1 wek
You should have no worries friend, cause James & Lars both said they plan to tour & make new music until the physically can't do it anymore. So as long & they're active with no health problems, you can expect them to continue to Rock this planet lol. They've always stayed strong, but of course they've hit plenty of bumps in the road, but those bumps only made them stronger. With the documentary of "Some kind of monster" hell we thought they were gonna break up, but they just had to open up to one another, rehab seriously saved James. But they were taking a good look deep inside themselves to figure out why Jason stepped off. That's one reason why no matter what, Metallica will be at the top of the list of my favorite Rock/Metal bands.
I could do without the slow-motion but holy moly, what a performance. Looks like they were really feeling it on this show, damn!
Still one of the best bands ever in metal
They are epic ! Classic ! 🤘
Ever period
Luke Hands hands down
As long they stay away from load and reload also st anger
Gods of Metal. Period
Amazing show, the energy they had was perfect 🤘
Some Bands will never ever lose the Live Magic . These Blokes are still awesome as they were 38 years ago !
Wow! They are taking it to the next level with the production here. Awesome!!
BRUTALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!
Yesssssssssssssssss! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeeeeeeeéessssssssssssssssssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@Zzzero Zzzero i writed in spanish.
mas que brutal
Damn well done!! The line in the song, "To see into my eyes, you'll find where murder lies". That is a strong line
No words can describe the admiration I have for this band!!!!!
James is the harvester of honey
This is replacing the HARVESTER I got on my live version of JUSTICE.
That edit is gold damn
Seriously, this is one of the best versions of this song live, since Moscow '91. When James is really feeling it, it always brings it up a notch.
Best since 1991
♠
Nah Moscow 91>San Diego 92>Seattle 89>this
best since the black album tour is more accurate
1981**
@Vortiac yeah I realized it when I hit send. Lol.
I come back to these videos all the time to relive this bad ass concert. They killed it. Hopefully us Vegas guys did Metallica proud. We were loud.
Jesus, James is still A PHENOMENAL vocalist. And the band is still brutally brilliant.
I was at this show. Seen them 6 times and they sounded the best they ever sounded
As an editor myself, I can tell you that this might last double the time to edit than the normal videos but... GODDAMN is it worth it ❤️
Words cannot describe how amazing this performance is and who ever edited this should get a raise
This felt so much more... POWERFUL! More so than other performances. Whether that be the new editing and sound- or Metallica really brought their A-Game that night!
Metallica still killing it after all these years.
LANGUAGE OF THE MAAAAAAAADDDDDD
3:35 Steve Harris is that you
Ppap
I totally read that as Steve Harvey. Even replayed it a few times cuz I couldn't see him. Whoops.
Hillarious joke 🤘
Nope that's just me 😅
I think it is
By far the best live video I've ever seen! TOP camera work, TOP editing and a TOP performance from the boys!
This is PURE METAL.
The mighty Metallica!!! Still doing it at a high high level unbelievable!! Thanks Metallica for your music you have no idea what it has done for me.
From 4:04 to 4:36 is just unbelievable! What a band!!!
The amount of force that Lars puts into his drumming is insane
He gets a lot shit about his drumming but I think he's f'n amazing. When I saw them live a year ago, Lars killed!!!
Awesome performance! Though I sorta miss Jason on backing vocals for this song, Kirk gets the job done, and everyone are playing extremely tight anyways so it’s all good
Jason's voice hasn't changed one bit
I woke up with this song stuck in my head, checked CZcams a few hours later to see this. Fantastic.
I'm speechless from seeing this video...beyond awesome
That was great! A Metallica concert on my Name Day! Amazing performance!
This show was so great in person. Glad I got to relive a portion of it!
You can just tell how much they love playing this song...
I was at this show ; epic memorable performance \m/
This should be the official music video.
I saw them at that concert, long live Metallica!!!🤘🤘🤘
awesome! how was the rest of the concert? 🙂
@@youtmeme It was amazing I had a great time 🤘😀🤘
Moment when Lars critics can go home and think about life in wide perspective.
His timing is awful, they would sound much much better live without him, but Metallica needs him for writing the music as his drum style suits their music so perfectly.
@@WanderingDeadbeat though he has improved, he still changes tempo every now and then and his timing continues to be awful.
Unnecessary instertion of unwanted kicks,Snare rolls and fills.
But having said that I still love Lars😂
Markus T he hit the double bass👀
It's nice to hear Lars using the 2nd bass drum pedal again. Hahahaha honouring the drum fills he created in the 80s
I used this very song (album version not this video) to prove a friend wrong when he said Lars couldnt drum for shit. He hadnt heard the Justice album (he was a frigging Oasis super fan) and he totally changed his mind.
I was born to love Metallica all my live. Amazing performance and video editing on the mighty Harvester!!!
Great show, great song! I want to hear more songs from AJFA! Oh, and Death Magnetic.
This was my first concert in general and it was fucking amazing. NEVER cease to disappoint
Their sound mixing at the live shows is freaking phenomenal. Best live sound I've heard from any band, and even better on this tour than the last 5 times I saw them in previous tours.
Love how the crowd is singing along with the main riff in the beginning, how you know it’s a lit song
Just amazing, have no other words!!!
Holy shit, that's truthly quality video \m/
The attitude from the band and especially James seems so different in this performance. Instead from eh lets go and play another show to lets go out there and show the world why we are the best. The raw energy is just amazing! Love it
Wow, just wow, they sound so good! I saw them live last year, I'm seeing them again in the summer and they're getting better and better. This is better then the old wine
Metallica. Best metal rock band in the world. You are my Rollingstones.
I love right before the first verse, Kirk hands it off to James. Two of the greatest rock artists to ever live, together in the same band and never wavering in intensity. What a sight
The editing is this video is epic, in fact cinematic! Great performance and great video!
WOW! Amazing editing! Been waiting for this!
This album, on vinyl, got me through some shit when I was in the Army in the late '80's. It'll always be my favorite Metallica album. Thanks guys!
THAT IS BEAUTIFUL
The amazing editing makes the performance that much better
I was at this concert. I wish I can go back and relive it. Such an epic concert!
Amazing!!! More and justice
I love Metallica♡
Just Awesome , WOW
BEAUTIFUL
This song proves that kirk enjoys this album better than any other one
Really dig how they're slowing everything down again like it's supposed to be.
When a song makes their bass player make this expression ( 04.49 ) then you know it's always one of most badass.
Awesome direction
my best song from Metallica live....still so amezing....
this video reminds me why i love playing this song, it’s a fun song to play
These guys have still got it! Horns up!!
I was at the show! Headbanging so hard! Thank you Metallica!!
Come to Brazil, please, our children need this sound. we love you.
Did you see SEPULTURA live.
megan morbek Go see the mighty SEPULTURA
Everyone was feeling this so hard. Best performance of this song in a hot minute!
my god this sounds great!
Oh, Yeahhh, I needed that! 💕
What a great video and performance!
i love how metallica uploads high quality live performance videos.
