It’s been about 2 years since the release of the DJI Air 2S, which was so popular, DJI decided to take away the Mavic name and make the Air a new series of it’s own. It appears that the Air series is going to be known for the best of both drone worlds and bring you most of the technology of the more expensive Mavic drones in a smaller, lighter package. The DJI Air 2S came out bosting it’s 1” sensor and 5.4K resolution video at 24 and 30fps, along with 4K at 60fps. The technology involved with this drone was so advanced that they needed to create the new DJI Fly App to control it.
This video goes over the structure and components of the DJI Air 2S so anyone from a beginner drone pilot to an experienced pilot that may be new to the DJI series drone. In addition to the operation of the DJI Air 2S, there’s also a breakdown of the complete DJI Fly App and a bonus at the end for anyone that’s completely new to flying a drone- Basic drone controls. This covers basic stick movements with the DJI Air 2S controller and the standard mode 2 which is used on most drone controllers. This brief lesson also takes you through the process of taking photos and video using the DJI Air 2S camera, controller and DJI Fly App.

I just got my drone but I'm scared to do anything with it. You've made this very simple.
😃 Just keep it close to you until you're more comfortable flying.
Just let go of the sticks and the drone will hover until your ready to carry on dont worry it's easy, The drone flys its self you basically steer it.

Nicely done.! In video on the display do the diagonal lines up in the sky signify overexposure? Can way to start flying mine!
Yes the zebras in the sky signify overexposure especially when the cameras looking right at the sun.
even though the air 3 is rumored to be launching soon I bought a used air 2s today because I would like to use 3rd party apps for my business. I'll wait a bit for the air 3 to get the same treatment before i switch.
The Air 2S already has a 1" sensor, 5K video, and 60fps. I can't imagine what the Air 3 is going to offer. Pretty exciting!
Not getting any WARNINGS?? Las Vegas WASH is pretty close to both (KHND) Henderson Executive Airport (Class D) and (KLAS) Harry Reid International Airport (Class B Airspace). Been to the WASH several times after Vegas flooding looking for bodies.
This side of the wash and all into Lake Las Vegas don't even have an altitude warning. The new DJI drones with the fly app won't let you take off if you're in a restricted zone. Hope I never see any bodies!
@@DigitalOutdoors I lived in Las Vegas for 46 years, before moving to Pahrump 4 years ago.
I got my Private Pilot (PPSEL) license in 1977 at North Las Vegas Airport (Oasis Aviation).
Back then, flying was much more fun for me, there was no CLASS B Airspace, just a TCA and outside of MTAs related to Nellis AFB, SCREECH AFB and Fort Irwin in Barstow, most of the airspace was wide open, uncontrolled airspace.
I got my Pilot's license when I was 24, in case I ever had a son, I thought it would be NEAT if he could come to me and say, "Dad, my girlfriend has never been in a plane, can you take us flying today?"
I thought, six years before he was born, how NEAT it would be to say, "Sure son, let me call and have the plane topped off!"
In 1983, I had a son and when he turned 16, he asked that very question and I got to say those very words.
Anyway, today at age 69, all of the regulations and INSANE FINES being issued for minor infractions with Drones is just over-regulation to me. AS GOVERNMENT AGENCIES ARE KNOWN FOR DOING.
An infraction that should carry a fine of say, $300-$500 by SANE, RESPONSIBLE standards carry fines of $5,000 to $100,000.
Leave it to the U.S. Government to SUCK THE SANITY and SENSIBILITY out of EVERYTHING THEY TOUCH.
But, I digress!
I have had my DJI Air 2s Drone for (2) years and use it to search roads ahead, look in caves and see what is ahead of me when I go Off-Road on Road Trips throughout 47 of 50 states.
A Professional Photographer ( dizeman.com ) for nearly half a century, as I tell the mechanic that maintains my Hummer, "I go places where there is no cell service and if my truck breaks down, people could very well die, so... No scrimping, no cheap fixes, only the best fluids and highest quality parts, the lives of people I care about depend on it."
My Drone is just another safety device for me. I make sure the road ahead of me is PASSABLE, to make sure I am not going to drive into a hidden mine shaft or off a cliff.... I consider it my extended tripod when documenting a new location.

I put a 256 gig card in the DJI rc remote and formatted it says it’s there but doesn’t record to it , records only to the 8 gig internal storage is there something I’m doing wrong
The sd card goes into the drone for starters (maybe you meant that). Go into the three dots in the top right corner of your main screen and over to camera and down to storage. Click on the SD card box. It's probably set on internal storage.
Hello why i cant zoom anymore ? Does it have anything to do with new software ?
It should zoom 8X but it won't work if you're in 10-bit or 120fps or 5.4k video. I'm not sure if any firmware upgrades changed anything yet.
Is the iPad 6 using cellular data or is just a Wi-Fi model?

Your better off using a piece of card or something when landing best not to land in dust or sand beach.

The DJI Fly App is what you need to download for the newer DJI drones and its free as long as it's compatible with your drone.

How do you recored a video and the video file shows all the drone stats like Height Distanst GPS ext
While in video mode, go to settings, scroll over to camera, scroll down to Video Subtitles and turn this on. 👍
