- I am revisiting Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition in the year 2024. Mojang gave up on updating this version of Minecraft many years ago, after all the console is now 19 years old! A lot of us will always remember the xbox 360 edition as being the best times playing Minecraft with friends and creating amazing worlds we would play for hours. The nostalgia is very strong from the old update I have my game set to whichs adds to the unique feeling legacy Minecraft edition has. I am excited to hear what you guys think about my desert base project and what you think I could do to expand upon the build making it better. That was such a fun project to do and brought me back to my childhood of building big bases in old Minecraft versions with less blocks available when the game was much simpler. Playing Minecraft on my Xbox 360 as a 6 year old, and playing Minecraft with friends were the best years of my life. So nostalgic.

If you want proof that Jesus and the Bible are true look a documentary called “Ron Wyatt discoveries 2022” on CZcams and a CZcams channel called Expedition Bible. They both examine archeological sites and discoveries that prove the Bible, and even reference secular sources. (Just don’t convert to 7th day Adventism after watching the documentary) And lastly if you don’t know the gospel and want to be saved search up “abc’s of Salvation Teenmissions” on Google and it should be the first or second result. When you click on it read the whole thing, and do what it says and have faith in Jesus while you are doing it, do not doubt, and if it is hard for you to do what it says, ask Jesus to help you, have faith that he will, and *he will.*

I remember the DAY MC launched on the 360. ALL my friends at the lunch table were super hyped. It made me go right after school and buy me a digital copy. We must have spent 1000+ hours playing it.
Unfortunately my first worlds are gone as my first xbox 360 got RROD). This video brought back a ton of nostalgia. I miss being 10 years old, not worrying about time passing, getting older, just chilling in the lounge building/mining. You brought that all back, thanks so much for making this!
Even though I didn't had a Xbox 360 but I had some world's on my PlayStation 3 I ended up losing my Minecraft worlds because my PlayStation 3 did went up in a puff of smoke but even then I do miss some of my old Minecraft worlds and I do wish I had saved some of the worlds in cloud safe to redownload to my PS4 or 5 it's sad that sometimes we do end up losing old Minecraft worlds it's like it's part of our own history and memories

@@JerooMinecraftI’ve been playing an offline version of ps3 Minecraft and I can use that old sandstone tutorial world. Pretty fun to see the creeper ship and that giant half destroyed building again after so long.
You can run this on a emulator called xenia, and if you have a good cpu and gpu it's super smooth. Plus you don't have to go out and get a 360.

This makes me reremember when I first gotten access to Minecraft in France and it was the Pocket-Edition..the days of passing the tablet to each friend and watching them add random buildings to the Minecraft world ^-^
You know if you have the digital version of the game, you can delete the title update file and go all the way back to TU1, which is the beta 1.6.6 equivalent to Java. And what’s cool is with the proper software and computer, you can manually install each Minecraft title update and play through every version on the 360.
I remember only being 7 in 2015 and playing this incredible game, I know I was almost 5 years late but I didn’t really care. Dude, I just remember watching so many vids from YT and trying to replicate those builds in creative. I also remember sucking at the survival mode and just playing the tutorial mode so much, I loved each and every second of this game and I really wish I still owned the game for my 360
OMG seeing this old minecraft tutorial world brings back so many memories. Its when me and my nephew first discovered the nether portal. I really wish I could see this map for myself again. so many memories🙂 🙂🤯🥰

I booted up my old xbox and played minecraft on it and i immediately played the tutorial and it hit me with so much nostalgia, all the memories with my old xbox friends, it brought a tear to my eye😢

You raise a really good point about the older updates feeling more accessible and easier to come up with ideas to build stuff. In newer versions of Minecraft, there are way too many blocks and it's overwhelming (in a bad way). That's why I prefer the beta versions of Minecraft, it has more of a Sandbox feel to it in my opinion.
I never had an XBOX 360, but I definitely played the tutorial world in my YMCA days on there. The absolute JOY I felt when seeing the crafting interface!! Amazing.

Me too on Java I usually have the programmer art turned on and I also found a texture pack to make the game look more like old Minecraft that is quite accurate. It looks weird with all the new items lol

I remember getting Minecraft on the 360 for the first time. It was a very fun experience. I still have it and some worlds from 2018/2019 and newer.

this is so cool. i never really experienced the console editions of minecraft.so i would be super interested in more videos like this. well i did get the 3ds version but the tutorial world isnt really a tutorial world.

yeah that would be dope. i know that if you mod your 3ds then you can download software to record footage on it. but i think nintendo might have made an update where you cant mod it anymore. but if u find a good method let me know.@@JerooMinecraft

I was going through my old stuff last week, and I recently found the Minecraft Xbox 360 edition in a box, and I had a surge of memories from my childhood flood back into my head which almost made me cry, It reminded me of how much simpler Minecraft was when I was a kid. I remember when finding diamonds made me freak out with excitement, nowadays I just say like "Oh, cool, diamonds."
It is funny, because I remember that when Anvils and enchantment books were released you could enchant pretty much anything with any enchantment, I always enchanted a stick with the highest available knockback enchantment, and I always did the same with a blaze rod, but I put Fire Aspect on it as well
Nowadays, to enchant stuff like that, it requires the use of commands.
This made me look for hours to find my Xbox and Minecraft
This was my Minecraft childhood, this world. I wish they still had it on newer versions.
I wanna make another comment, hopefully you respond, 8 hours after this comment but, that house in the swamp is so nostalgiac to me and I remember I had so much enjoyment logging out and going to sleep knowing I explored everything in the tutorial, and I think I had a great time re-living my memorys that I never made. Thanks man for giving nostalgia without booting up my xbox, but who knows, I probably will turn on my xbox and play.
You should try going back on your Xbox and playing this tutorial world it felt amazing exploring it again. That’s so cool how well you remember the swamp house it feels very nostalgic to me too and the whole tutorial world reminds me of tons of good times wandering around it years ago

If you didn't know you can play the ps4 edition of minecraft if you get a disk and stop the download when it should be ready to play
The original tutorial world was great but nobody remembers the pocket edition creative mode tutorial with the different sections like the redstone one

my favourite tutorial world is the TU31's tutorial map , its the one with that town and the circle made out of stone brick in that pond and so much more. i honestly enjoy TU31 much more than modern minecraft because its a balance between release and current minecraft

I remember first renting Minecraft Xbox 360 from a Redbox early 2012ish. I loved it so much I ended up with late fees equal to the price of the actual game.
I used to have a city world where I used to make buildings and roads together, I recommend building a city.

@@JerooMinecraft no its just shutting down. The farthest I've been able to get was the world selection screen. Maybe it was overheating? I do have it in my shelf so that's a possibility

@@TonsofpizzaWill be overheating. I'm only into PS3 repair but research 360 hardware faults, debunked failures etc and you'll learn a lot. If you have the time and skill ofc.

i had an xbox 360 when i was younger and i would play on it all the time, but when i got a new xbox my dad broke my 360 because it had credit card details. Ever since that happened, i’ve missed playing minecraft when life was so much simpler.

Any tips on recovering old worlds mate? Loaded up my 360 and opened Minecraft and it only lets me play survival and not open and of my old worlds ? Gutted I can see them all but not open them

Is it possible to avoid the aquatic update if i dont already have the game installed? I used to play on a disc but i lost the disc long ago, and I'm planning on just downloading the game instead of buying a disc, but i dont want to be on the aquatic update

If I were to want to play Xbox 360 edition would a physical copy of it work on the series x? I would try to see for myself but Idk where my copy went
