Would be really cool if this tech could eventually be stable enough to lift objects as heavy as cars. The cyclorotors could retract out of the wheels so that they can take flight not just when immobile but also while driving.
Its a fasinating design. I like that its quite different. Its good to see a alternative type system developing. Having varied systems making progress is good. The reliability of various systems is good for science advancing. Its sure unusual. Im impressed. The required spin rate seems impressivly low. Its pritty cool. Tight. Tidy. Less propeller chopping at knees to walk into. Rolling barrel deflecting off knees mmm does give impression it may be safer if i were to walk into it.
Cool man cool.
This development is the only one of all that looks like a flying car. The rest are either airplanes or quadrocopters trying to look like a car.

What weight does that design carry right now? or nothing outside its own weight so has to build in the 500Nm of thrust or there-abouts, for 2 passengers and cargo? I love the compactness able to be achieved with cyclorotors but we all need to know size of rotors for lift per 100Nm
