So my living room was starting to feel a little crowded because of all the different plant pot styles and specific plants so I'm switching to a more minimalist living room styling approach... aka... switching out my plant pots and styling the plants for a more cohesive look. Plants are an amazing decor statement in any space so I hope this inspires you and your space.

Beautiful job on the plant styling. It’s amazing how quickly the plants can grow. I have to reposition mine if they get into each other’s space. I guess they need social distancing.😂

@@createwithkim7 It is addictive! Many many years ago I had some plants but with cats and living in a house with very little natural light I gave up. I bought the first set of plants in February and they are doing great. I bought a second bunch of smaller plants in June and just repotted them a week ago and they are doing great. Two things I’ve learned from past mistakes was that I was stressing the plants by repotting them immediately after bringing them home and using heavy potting soil.
I love your DIY plant hangers! Could you do a tutorial on making them? I’ve never tried but would love to!

Everything looks so lovely!!! I’ve managed to kill any plants I’ve tried even spider plants! I now only have one mini cactus that is managing to survive :P
Cactus for the win! Lol. I tried Spider plants once and it died within 2 weeks lol. People say it's an easy plant but I wasn't convinced 😅. But I'm happy for you and the Cactus! Keeping even 1 plant alive is a win lol.

I love that you have all that natural light! I have a lot of trees in my neighborhood, so I get minimal light through my windows. I have grow lights and need to get more!
The windows were one of the selling points when I first saw this house! Do you have a growlight brand you'd recommend? I wanted to get one for my bedroom.
@@createwithkim7 i. Bought clip on grow lights but didn’t by them with timer and it’s a pain, so I bough others that go in tnserted in plant and you can set to whatever hours you want. Also got clip on with timer and I think they have blue and red light. Once winter gets here I don’t know what I’m going to do😞
Btw I didn’t mention the light that goes in plant it called an umbrella grow light, the rods extends.

Thanks Cynt. Which plant were you going to use them for? I wanted to try them because I watched a lot of videos where the leaves look so big and healthy ...lol. so that convinced me.

Beautiful home and plants! I have a lot also, and am constantly moving them around. If I were your neighbor I would help you repot those monsteras lol. My best friend always waits for me to visit so I can repot her plants.

Lol. No rush...you inspired me to do a date night with my husband...only because I want to set the table lol.
It never occurred to me to make ginger tea out of...ginger. I'm going to have to try that, I like my ginger tea fairly spicy.
Lol. Idk why I found this so funny. If you like spicy...then...you'd enjoy this for sure! I actually boil pieces the ginger first so that water could be "gingery" and then the extra kick comes in with the grated ginger.
