What's so funny is that so many DbD players complained that adding Alien and Predator would "ruin" the atmosphere of DbD as they're too "spacey". Ironically, this game has original killers like Skull Merchant and Trickster...two killers who look completely out of place in this game. Not to mention the obvious elephant in the room: Demogorgon, which is easily one of the best killers in the game yet is the closest thing to those two that we have currently. IMO Alien and Predator were always destined to come to DbD; it was just a matter of when.

personally I think it is hard to counter xeno rn but it may be easier in the future and also I'm tired of reversing a xeno every match
@@tj9287 sounds like a serious skill issue, you forgot that in 4v1 the 1 has to be actually stronger to even stand a chance, wich btw. against good survivors is really hard. just as intended
The Killer is not fun to go against as he has an ability to end chases fairly quick like the Blight and Nurse which both can be great as killer but suck for survivors.

After playing against alien theres almost no counter play in chase since there is next to no warning before tail attack and the range is crazy. The only thing you can do is genrush which isnt fun for anyone 🤷♂️

@@elone8440similar to the singularity killer the alien has built in counterplay. The flame turrets force the alien out of crawler mode and slow the alien down. Placing the turrets around good loops effectively turns the alien into a m1 killer in chase.

It looks extremely powerful but I think on the other side its not enough pressure on the map this way. I also use cattle prod + cat carrier, alongside with discordance and tinkerer, and its godlike. You have extreme amount of pressure on the map even in the first 10 seconds of the game already. Literally no one can escape or hide or do anything without you noticing them immediately, and getting there undetectably. The fun is immeasurable I have since Xeno got released.

The walking sound of singularity is a great addition for the overall character quality, i think they should implement that more

I've been having a lot of fun with infinite eyes alien build. Both iri addon's, ultimate weapon, lethal pursuer, Darkness revealed and Lightborn. You just perpetually stay in chase and if for some reason someone manages to hide you just go check a locker.
I'm loving Acidic Blood. I'm tinkering with a hit and run build at the moment. Right now, it uses Acidic Blood/Harpoon Gun with stbfl/sloppy/thanat/rapid brutality. Pop out of the hole, hit someone, see new location, pop back in the hole. I basically turn the game into a big Whack-a-Mole, but the mole does the whacking. It's wildly fun.

Can we talk about that new killers get too many abilities and seem to be more ability based then skill based. Take huntress, she can throw a hatchet thats it and it takes skill to be good. Alien gets tunnels, run mode, special ranged attack in run mode, flamethrowers that hinder bline and exhaust survivors until they place.

He has the tail attack and the tunnels. You're just embellishing it: runner mode is when he has his tail attack and the flamethrowers are a survivor item to counter him, so the opposite of his power. People like you will always cry and play the victim, no matter what they change. The sad truth is: skill issue ;-)

I think aliens great, but my only gripe is I don't think the flamethrowers help enough. You honestly can't do much to him unless you have at least 2 set up 1 will slow him down for maybe a second but that's it, if he's even somewhat decent he'll catch up to you extremely fast and there's not much you can do unless theres a pallet or something real close. I've only found success setting up 2 turrets with that I can usually get away without much issue I've had a few get somewhat close with 2 turrets but I was able to juke them still thanks to the distance I got because of the 2 flamethrowers. That's just my opinion though he's pretty cool to go against still, and I'm glad they finally added him.

Low mmr games that's all and people are still learning counter his power, when nemesis was released was the same thing. Xenomorph is fun and balanced
@@tj9287 Alien is the first killer released in a while that doesn’t center around gen progression or camping. Both Knight and Skull merchant fall victim to this boring power set. Now if behavior had any concern for Alien, they would’ve nerfed him due to the feedback from the PTB. Maybe people just have to adapt to Alien. This isn’t a killer who should be punished, this is a killer who should be praised

Pretty much not being able to anticipate an acid shot is kinda bullshit, not gonna lie. The audio clue gives you less time than Dead Hard's 0,5 seconds to react to it. Who's gonna play Nemesis (hell, I'd go as far as saying even Pyramid Head too) now when he's a straight downgrade to Xenomorph?
Nemesis still has the zombies and additional range although arguably he is weaker than Xeno atm. I'd argue Xeno's perk Ultimate Weapon is the best perk on Nemi as screaming survivors lure the zombies straight to their locations.

I am enjoying the killer very very much, It feels like the down time is non existence on The Alien. But he does seem a tad overtuned on his tail attack. There isnt a charge up time like Nemesis and Huntress where they get slowed down before they can perform the action. This makes the alien very reactive and really hard to loop. There is no real immediate warning. just the stance. As a killer main I think he needs a minor change to just his tail attack

Tail attack should insta-kill survivors. But Behavior is too scared of making this game a horror game, unfortunately.
The flame turrets are a hard counter against the alien especially if they setup the turrets around good loops which effectively turns the alien into a m1 killer.
@@kingol4801it's a pvp game it's supposed have some have some balance so the game isn't completely one sided. If the killer was as strong as you suggest then very few people would play survivor. Yes it is a horror game but it is also a pvp game so both sides need to be balanced.
The thing i hate most is when i match up with noobs that don't do nothing did most of the gens run from the killer for like 5 minutes didn't get hooked once and when the exit get powered killer catch me and hook me, and those 3 noobs scared of rescuing just went out

Does parasitic blood activate on blast mine too even if they're far away wen it triggers. It counts as a stun and blind so that would be interesting lol

Doing Enduring Spirit Fury will make survivors pre drop like crazy.
The trick for Acidic Blood is to use it with perks that punish pre-drop, so maybe combining Fire Up and Brutal Strength

Alien and Wraith are the best killers in game . Wraith is fast very hard to beat a wraith - Alien is just broken lol - he has no downside and he is lowkey like wraith because of his insidious and speed in his portal travel thing , gen regression + speed perks for Alien so he can be faster in chase and that’s a never lose build lol + that pink add on to punish good survivors , gg -

Gotta say I’m pleased with this chapter. Seems like making Dull Merchant really opened BHVRs eyes up to creating good chapters again. Btw I’m shitting on Chess Merchant, not saying she’s good.
Because Skull Merchant is the best killer design by far.

Alien is fun but any time I try to use the turrets they never want to work for me, I may be doing something wrong idk, and I don't really know how to counter the tail besides ducking and that doesn't even work all the time, im having fun but if anyone has any tips it would be nice
Ducking doesn't always work because the Alien player can "aim up" and hit you over pallets in some places. It's definitely harder to dodge than Nemi's tentacle. As for the turrets, they have a motion sensor on them that beeps louder the closer that Xeno is to you. If it starts beeping fast I would vacate the area and lead the Xeno to turrets. You want to position your turrets to hopefully knock the Alien out of his Crawler mode. I say hopefully because if the player is good/brings the right addons, they can prevent themselves from getting knocked out often so you have to position them in spots that you will be running towards. If the Xeno tries to kill a turret, use that time to book it to another loop, preferably one with a turret.
