There's no might about it, this can only be heaven. This is the first time I have seen it in pictures but it is exactly what I have always seen in my dreams.

I finally saw a machine I have, however, it could be a Regina Model 44 20 3/4 music box or Regina Model 144 without the phonograph attachment on as the video is not clear enough to see. The machine is at the 9:26 mark in the video which is the left machine if anyone can verify which one it is a Model 44 or 144.

What's the music being played throughout?
Went to the opening / dedication of the organ back in 1994/5. Lyn Larsen playing - wonderful.

Very nice. It would have been nice to hear more of the instruments. A little of the organ goes a long way when there is so much more music to be heard.

Let's be thankful that someone with money did the right thing by collecting and preserving these magnificent treasures that have given joyous music to so many people. I can remember when many "poor people" thought old music machines were just old trash to be thrown out and discarded. I got my 1920 Victrola for $5. from a shop that "hated looking at that old thing" if I promised to take it away that very afternoon.

Señor Sanfilippo must have an army of artisans to do all that restoration and its amazing how they have been able to get so much work done so fast. I hope he will leave his digs to the Smithsonian Museum when he kicks the bucket so the place and the contents will be well cared for. I wish he would send us a few bucks to help feed our 300 rescue dogs in Mexico. All that money used to restore objects while others are left to starve. Somehow it doesnt seem right. Try to be thankful that this man, unlike most, used his money to preserve beauty and music for many, many thousands to enjoy .
