Hi friend, I just wanted to mention that if you have any more questions, leave them under this video or this comment. FOR A SHOUT OUT: If you're studying in country that's not your own, FEEL FREE TO LEAVE TIPS\ADVICE for anyone who might need it (or even if you just want to). Have a great week!
The experience varies from university to university, city to city , love what you said tho ,if you asked me 😂😂😂

Russian is easy....they and i know that Russian is a phonetic language like Greek, Spanis, Italian, Portuguese, French and other Slavic languages...the difficult is that English is not a phonetic language. Por example in French, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish the letter A, has the same name and sound...the name and the sound of the letter is the same and from someone coming languages originated from latin...it is a walk in the park. I am trying to learn Russian without studying it...from the alphabet i am just decoding the sounds of words...so it depends on base language...
Michie can you share with information med school in são petersburgo, school fee or total cost, maintenance costs... please, if you can!

Hey , how are the fees there for like master's in Economics ; and is it taught in English?
Very interesting ❤️❤️❤️ my department please how can I continue masters is it easy to got admission?
Hello guys,
i'm planning to study medicine next year in Russia? Do u think it would be worth it ? please drop your opinions...
I'm a Zambian doing mechanical engineering too, in China. Intresting story. What caused you to choose engineering? I used to love airplanes and cars as a child, but decided that engineering would be more 'Zambia friendly' than being a pilot or aerospace /aeronautical engineering in terms of having a life back home (which I really want, I don't picture myself settling down abroad). Frankly I see myself owning a plan manufacturing.... Idk yet 😂😅 but yeah, intresting to hear about your experiences, some of them parallel what we go through in China 😂😅😅
Was your course in English or Chinese, and are you on scholarship? If so, how did you apply for it, and what were the requirements?
I want to study in China when I'm older so, I'm a bit curious.
@@hallelujavlogs hi, my course was in English, and I had a scholarship given by the school upon admission but it wasn't 100%. Since you are considering going to China to study in the future, I feel compelled to tell you what I went through. Prepare for a long comment. Honestly, it was not at all what I was hoping for or expecting. I held this country to very high standards in my mind. My particular school was bad but the problems I experienced there are common across all schools in China where foreign students are able to apply for courses in "English". First off, the segregation. It is understandable that foreigners would have to be separated from Chinese students to some degree when it comes to classes and course material, but that should only be as far as language is concerned, because mandarin is the official and first language for the Chinese students so it is practically impossible to teach them their college level courses in English. At the same time China wants foreign students, so they offer courses in English, at least they advertise that they do. Due to these realities you will rarely if ever attend a class with chinese students present, probably only if you are doing a practical on the same period as a Chinese class or something like that. This segregation is not just restricted to the language though, it seems to also be there concerning quality of education. It was common to hear from my firemds and country mates in other cities say "the Chinese learn more than us". This is substantiated by the fact that the foreigner syllabus and the Chinese syllabus are different, they Chinese one has more courses and activities than the one for foreigners. Basically, you and a Chinese person can go into the exact same course for the exact same length of time and will get identical degrees (e.g you're both a bachelor's in computer science) but, your Chinese counterpart has learn more content and in more detail than you and is therefore by default better off than you in terms of knowledge and skills out of school. Not to mention there weren't eny clubs or extracurriculars for foreigners that the school put forward, you are on your own for those and in my case foreigners weren't even allowed to make a club. Forget about college sports sponsored by the school, you're on your own for that but you can make friends with chinese and buy your own balls and organise your own tournaments. Our practicals were done just for the sake of it and not really to teach us anything in my opinion, because we did a hall effect experiment for physics class and I can't recall for the life of me what it is or what it's for 😂.
@@hallelujavlogs sorry for the short pause, but I continue. I'll talk a little bit more about tmy point on syllabi being different. On the one hand in terms of quantity, you definitely learn much less than a Chinese student would doing your course. But if you do your course in Chinese (which I advise against), you will be subjected to the same standards and quality as the Chinese and will learn together with them. For context, imagine that for first year in an English taught program in China you're doing about 8 courses. Now in the same program in England you're going about 14, a rather obvious contrast! This is a fundamental problem you will face if you decide to come to China. Then in terms of quality, some courses are just absent, you will likely never learn them. And for the ones you do, you may never go into necessary depth to make you competent at say designing and analysing a model of a bridge on ansys and solidworks /Autocad to present as a project before an audience. We mostly do not have freedom to go to science labs to do experiments at our own time, you'd have to ask a teacher for permission and while I didn't try (didn't have the idea at the time, for a while I didn't really know what am ideal uni experience was really supposed to be like, even if Schools different from each other) I doubt I would be successful if I asked. One notable instance of unprofessionalism I witnessed was that we couldn't have online accounts from which we may receive different information such as class timetables, exam schedules, important announcements etc. The Chinese students had all these so it's not as though the school was incapable of providing them. And I mean, come on, this is China, among the world's most technologically advanced countries, there NO way to provide such a facility for foreign students? Really??
The library was rarely used by students even though there were English books. Why they never bothered is a mystery to me, may not necessarily be the school's fault, but it was interesting that despite the library having very useful reading material, teachers never bothered to tell us to go to the library to retrieve said books and use them for our course work. Yes, there are Ebooks, but even such were not always available. And even if there were, it's an uphill battle if your teacher tells you "sorry I don't understand you" whenever you ask a question.
Most times your teacher is so unhelpful (not altogether their failt as the school gives them a position they ate clearly not qualified for) that you have to resort to youtube or Google to learn your coursework. I'm great full for the resource and even more so for CHAT GPT now that it's avaliable. But it before chat gpt, even youtube wasn't always helpful. Sometimes the only videos available for the particular subject or topic you're looking at in class are some hindi Indian videos whose titles are in English but content is in hindi so they're useless for you, and yet, time is going, class is moving but you still don't understand. It's hard to organise your studies because you also don't know where the teacher is going. Some only used their PPTs (NOT helpful for gaining a deep understanding of topics, especially when their English is bad.. ) one particularly good teacher I had who taught alongside am ebook and her PPTs was skipping chapters and it messed me up at some point, but I don't blame her, she explained that there was not enough time to cover all the content for the course in question (and belive me whem I say we left out some very important content!) and so she could only cover some topics. Another consequence of the school's failings and lack of seriousness.
@@hallelujavlogs all in all, I feel this place just doesn't take us seriously. You go to a western country and they want to develop you into the best possible whatever (engineer, computer scientist etc) that you could be, but here, it's like they just want your money and couldn't care less what you get out of them, lots of people have this tragic story of discovering what it really is like to pursue your degree in China. If you are considering going elsewhere I say please push for that elsewhere where you will be taken seriously and you will have next to no time for clubs, parties or drugs. Go to a place that will give you skills and knowledge to prepare you as best they can for the real world because I tell you, there are people coming out of China with impressive titles like BSc in civil engineering and technology etc, but they CAN'T DO JACK. Not even basics, no need to mention to me that things are learnt on the job because that is not applicable here...
@@hallelujavlogs In conclusion, I don't know what you want to study, but since you haven't graduated from high school yet, let me give you some advice. Most importantly, analyse your own life and not that of others. Look at what YOU want to do and do research on how to get there. If it means you'll get there slower than your friends or peers, that's fine as long as you have a clear goal and plan. It's easy to think that you 'need to go as fast as possible' off to university when you hear that your friends are going, especially abroad. There's a strong sense of fear of missing out or that you're failing in life or that your friends will be rich and you won't wtc... But don't look at their lives and start making comparisons because life is never straightforward. For some people things will happen quickly and for others it will happen slowly, just keep to your lane and concentrate on YOUR life. Next, if you're considering doing a STEM kind of degree( I don't know what to say about social science degree like business and law etc so please ask around and research for yourself) , do A-levels after school. The exposure to the science and math you'll meet in A-levels will make courses in university easier to understand and you'll pick them up more quickly. There was math in my electrical engineering course that I was seeing for the first time which was in A-level math textbooks, you can imagine how I felt! A-levels will 'slow down' entry into uni because they take between 1and 2 years hence my mention of the possibility of life moving 'slowly' for some people, but that literally does not matter and should not matter for you. Try to check on the internet for scholarships and their requirements when you have free time, knowing requirements ahead of time can help you prepare to meet them (SAT tests for the US, TOEFL, IELTS for some courses in other countries etc). From what I know, bachelor's degree scholarships ate rather challenging to obtain due to the competition, but if you persist, it's possible to get one. Be careful with agencies, in my experience lots of people get scammed into paying unnecessary, made up fees and different students have been charged different fees adding up to thousands of US dollars.
But if you must come to China.... I'd say don't do a degree like medicine or engineering, consider business Chinese and whatever you do, DON'T USE SICAS. This is all from my experience so you need to do you own research, all the best...
I need your response on this; I got scholarship to study in Russia but medical report states that I’m hepatitis B positive. Every other test is negative (HIV, Hepatitis C, Tuberculosis) etc. would I be returned home if my hepatitis B is still positive upon arrival in Russia?

Where do you do your hair, is it expensive or cheap..how much money should one take with them as a first timer
I had to learn how to do my hair myself actually. Because it can be a bit on the expensive side. And as for how much money you need, that really depends on your lifestyle and income
