I am from Germany, 61 years old and my alltime heroes are Black Sabbath an Lynyrd Skynyrd. Some years ago i find these fabulous lovell sisters in you tube. They are the same for me as Sabbath and Skynyrd and i can see them live this year in cologne, Germany. Hell yeah i will be the happiest man in the world at this time. I'm 68 years old. My favorite bands are the Allman Brothers and Lynyrd Skynyrd. But these ladies are the daughters of them. Love there music. Saw them in Vienna in november last year and it was amazing

I’m in my mid 60s and like you I saw a lot of great bands. I scoff at that rock is dead comments. These ladies and others are killing it right now and many are women (The Warning, Dea Matrona, Laura Cox, Ally Venable, Samantha Fish, Joanne Shaw Taylor etc.)
77 here and a Woodstock alum. Hundreds of concerts. These ladies are in my top 10.

I first heard this song on K-WULF here in Missouri at the beginning of the week after work on the way to the second job and It spoke so deep to my soul, the music, the sound reminded me of a lot of music from the 70's when I was a kid but I could not place who it was! Well fast forward through a busy work week and I could not get this song out of my head didn't get a chance to look it up on the station site til today. Finally i found out who did this amazing song; thought surely a deeper cut from some 70's blues rock group. Wow! I was so wrong! And pleasantly! To find and that they were sisters! Today's Ann and Nancy Wilson of Heart. I didn't really think there were to many acts out there these days were you could feel there heart and soul in there music . I rarely by new music these days. I will most definitely be buying your album! You ladies bring back a soul and feel to music I think I have heard in very few acts these days. THANK YOU! I LOVE IT!

@@frankboyd. The Grammys lost their credibility when they didn't give them an award for Venom & Faith. Hope is eternal, but I don't expect much from them now.
@@audiophileman7047 Agreed. I listened to every album in both the Blues categories that year. There was a clear standout, cutting edge, groundbreaking album in both categories. Venom & Faith in the modern blues and Kingfish's debut album in traditional blues. It's an absolute crime that neither one won.
@@davidnettleton3375 My disappointment with the Grammys goes way way back. When they failed to give any awards to Pink Floyd for their masterpiece The Wall, I lost all confidence in them. I really don't take them seriously anymore.

Would not surprise me to hear this on country radio as they don't play country music anymore, it's either southern rock or pop.
@@indianaslim4971 This song is more country than most these days. You know, country music has always had three sub-genres, religious, dance and folk/ballads. Modern day does sound pop, but they've been mixing pop in since the 70's. I know the world sucks, but do we have to tear each other apart while the elite laugh at our plight?

Has Rebecca played the special 'Wanted Woman' guitar yet?
A good friend of mine, Billy, built an electric guitar in 2022 for Rebecca, Larkin Poe. It is not an ordinary guitar, but with Art, so painted, with a pointing drawing, an image of Rebecca and the text 'Wanted Woman', so a lot of work… . Billy gave the guitar to Rebecca at the Dutch BosPop Weert festival on July 10, 2022. A Larkin Poe tour manager took a photo of Rebecca and Billy together with the 'Wanted Woman' guitar at the handover ceremony. This photo was supposed to be sent to Billy, but nothing has been received yet. Billy would of course love to know if Rebecca played the guitar, what she thinks about it and where the guitar is now. Who can HELP us find an answer to that? Rebecca, hopefully you read this message!

About 5 years ago I discovered Blues. In my newly found path I ran up on the two of you playing with all different Blues artists. I love your works, all that I've listened to so far. You are consistently professional with a sound all to your own. The second one of your tunes comes on I know it's you guys, slide maybe. I will never leave this genre although I still jump at the chance to see a rock show one day I'll get the chance to do a Blues night and I will. Other then that I think you are the beat sister band since Heart ,even better maybe . Not sure check back in 25 years but I'll be along for the ride
