    to connect locally to the server check the ip of the device running the server

    for older servers the only new line you need is this
    +server.queryport 28016

    It shows me Error! App '258550' state is 0x602 after update job, how do i solve this problem

      Haven't had my server up for a bit will check out later if anything has changed with the new silo update

      from what I can see some people find deleting the appmanifest.acf in the steamapps folder and redownloading the update works, also some have found lack of storage to be the issue, hope this helps

    Whenever I try to update my server/validate it. I cant find were its doing it and it wont let me force_install_dir then file dir to server location. steamcmd says please use force_install_dir before logon! and I did with anonymous. I even tried it in one full command and still wont work.

      I don't recommend the force install, as it can cause issues, if you ever make a new server run the login anonymous and game validate it'll save everything to the steam cmd folder you ran it in, for the current issue you may need to do a pc wide search for the dedicated rust.exe to find where its saved and see what the directory is, don't know if this helps

      Very limited, but hoping to play around with it, just need more ram to set up two vms and running a server on each as a test. Hopefully soon
