Great video. Yes I am on the xbox and it is a struggle without any assist on. I have just learnt how to setup the xbox controller to trim the cyclic which is a big help. I have no real world experience in helis and limited sim time but have been studying some youtube videos on real helis and it seems that pilot assist is standard on many real world helis (except the trainers). They call it SAS. My understanding is there are 2 SAS levels which also are involved with the autopilot. SAS1 is yaw (rudder) SAS2 is pitch and roll (cyclic) I saw a video of a particular Bell407 which is usually flown with SAS2 (the name may not be SAS2) and only the rudders are manually controlled, when not on autopilot. Another video of an Agusta 119 said that it is ‘normally’ flown with both SAS1 and SAS2 when not on autpilot for proper aerodynamic control, though it can be flown manually without SAS on, but apparently at higher speeds it can be hard to handle. So it seems that pilot assist is used in real helis. My personal preference is cyclic assist only. I like that the heli pivots towards the wind in msfs. The wind effects are cool. But I sometimes do rudder assist and manual cyclic to get the feel of handling the cyclic. Presently no assist at all is too hard for me but with time I am hoping to get there. The above is my understanding. I may be wrong. Any input you have on real world helis and pilot assist would be great to hear. I fly the 407 and 206B in the sim.
I liked how Seb said in one interview, he made these assistance as it feels when you are flying with a veteran CFI who is also holding the controls and can (and will) override the pilots inputs at any time.

Why did they not just an make arcade mode and a sim mode that way everyone can fly like make it like the gta controls should not be hard to do
I was planning to get a collective, but these are so overpriced for what it is.
